Saturday afternoon football games, Friday night TGIF-ing, or just because, Autumn feels like the most inviting season of all. Halloween night, especially. Our patio always turns in to the must-be spot for family and friends. Everyone pitches in goodies for the trick-or-treaters, and we provide the<strong> <a title=\"turkey black bean chili\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/recipes\/turkey-and-black-bean-chili\/\">turkey &amp; black bean chili<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>While a healthy dinner that fuels our party and little costume wearers, I&#8217;m always trying to find some new and exciting to serve for dessert. This year, we&#8217;re going with a crazy-kind-of-simple Pumpkin Cream Cheese Dip. Part appetizer, part dessert, wholly scrumptious, there&#8217;s nothing <em>not <\/em>to love about these seasonal creation.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"pumpkin cream cheese dip\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/10\/easy-5-ingredient-pumpkin-cream-cheese-dip-with-homemade-graham-crackers\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-100607\" alt=\"pumpkin-cream-cheese\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/pumpkin-cream-cheese.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/pumpkin-cream-cheese.jpg 600w, https:\/\/dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/pumpkin-cream-cheese-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yeah, yeah, yeah,<strong> <a title=\"pumpkin pinterest\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/dietsinreview\/pumpkin-is-the-flavor-of-the-season\/\">the pumpkin trend<\/a><\/strong> has reached a fever pitch. But the thing about this one, is that it&#8217;s real! We only use pure pumpkin puree to add REAL flavor to our recipe. Not pumpkin pie filling, no <strong><a title=\"fake pumpkin flavor\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/09\/your-favorite-pumpkin-treats-are-full-of-hidden-sugar-fake-flavor\/\">fake pumpkin garbage<\/a><\/strong>. Pure pumpkin puree is just that &#8212; pure pumpkin. We made these <strong><a href=\"%20http:\/\/saltandsmokefood.com\/whole-wheat-almond-meal-graham-crackers\/%20\" target=\"_blank\">Whole Wheat Almond Meal Graham Crackers<\/a><\/strong>. It wasn&#8217;t worth re-inventing the wheel when Chris Castro of Salt &amp; Smoke had already crafted these perfect snack crackers. His recipes, his photos, they&#8217;re just not even fair! He is supremely talented and his recipes bring our taste buds to their knees on the regular. (I&#8217;ve also made his <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/saltandsmokefood.com\/brown-butter-bourbon-rice-krispies-treats\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bourbon Rice Krispies treats<\/a> <\/strong>and they&#8217;re nothing short of devourable!)<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"homemade graham crackers\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/10\/easy-5-ingredient-pumpkin-cream-cheese-dip-with-homemade-graham-crackers\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-100604\" alt=\"homemade-graham-crackers\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/homemade-graham-crackers.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"468\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/homemade-graham-crackers.jpg 600w, https:\/\/dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/homemade-graham-crackers-300x234.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The name on these crackers may sound complicated, but having made these ourselves, I can honestly say they&#8217;re super easy! We upped the adorable factor by using little fall critter cookie cutters; Chris originally made them as classic square grahams. Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl and combine using either a hand-mixer or by folding with a rubber spatula.<br \/>\n2. Cover and chill for later, or serve immediately with crackers, cookies, or dippers of your choice.
