Jamie Oliver started a food revolution in Huntington, West Virginia; <a title=\"Rachael Ray Diet\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/04\/rachael-ray-gets-kids-cooking\/\" target=\"_self\">Rachael Ray<\/a> started a food movement in New York City, but what about parents at home?<\/p>\n<p>When I was growing up, my elementary and middle school didn\u2019t have a cafeteria, so all kids relied on the food their parents sent them to school with. The staple seemed to be a sandwich along with a bag of chips and a can of soda, but there are much <a title=\"healthy school meals\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/03\/school-lunches-dont-have-to-be-junk\/\" target=\"_self\">healthier lunches<\/a> that kids could be eating that are easy to make.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In the most recent issue of GOOP, a newsletter written by Gwyneth Paltrow, she spoke with two &#8220;foodie moms&#8221; to bring to life some great ideas to put in your child\u2019s lunchbox.  Some of the featured recipes include a peanut butter, banana and honey sandwich, roll ups made with sliced deli meats and cheese, and even homemade granola bars that look better than anything I have seen in stores.
