The first thing to remember is to <span style=\"underline;\">only buy 100% juice products<\/span>.<span style=\"yes;\"> <\/span>Any other juice that\u2019s not 100% is only good for providing you with a ton of sugar and <a title=\"empty calories\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/07\/how-to-avoid-empty-calories\/\" target=\"_self\">empty calories<\/a> that give you little to no nutritional value (i.e. sweetened juice and fruit-juice cocktail drinks).<\/span><\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<ul style=\"0in;\" type=\"disc\"><\/ul>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"small;\"><span style=\"Times New Roman;\">2. <strong>Serving Size<\/strong>. Another important thing to note is the <span style=\"underline;\">serving size<\/span>.<span style=\"yes;\"> <\/span>It\u2019s great to buy OJ and enjoy your 8 oz. serving (roughly providing 120 calories), but note that if you go over the recommended size you are taking in additional calories, which if you\u2019re not careful, can translate into gaining weight.<span style=\"yes;\"> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"0in;\" type=\"disc\"><\/ul>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"small;\">3. <strong>Count Calories<\/strong>. When consuming beverages, except water, remember that <span style=\"underline;\">these drinks contribute to your daily caloric intake<\/span>.<span style=\"yes;\"> <\/span>If you&#8217;re going to attempt to control your calories, but consume a lot of calorie-filled beverages, you must remember to subtract that total from your recommended calorie intake for the day.<span style=\"yes;\"> <\/span>Simply meaning, the more calories you take in from beverages, the less food you can eat to stay within you calorie need and not gain weight.<span style=\"yes;\"> <\/span>I don\u2019t know about you, but I would rather eat my food and receive nutrients from natural, whole-food sources instead of drinking my meal.<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/red-apple1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2317\" title=\"red-apple1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/red-apple1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"180\" height=\"167\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"Times New Roman;\">4. <strong>Nutrient Supplement<\/strong>.
