If you start to address it right now, this extra piece of information can be used for your good health.<\/p>\n<p>These\u00a0three little letters have caused so much talk and controversy in recent days. Everyone is wondering how it will be used in the future against you, i.e., higher insurance rates, possible \u201c<a title=\"obesity tax\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/12\/new-york-governor-proposes-obesity-tax\/\" target=\"_self\">obesity tax<\/a>,\u201d etc.<\/p>\n<p>But, there\u2019s no need to panic. You can take control of your situation by putting together a plan of action that includes sensible eating, regular exercise and lifestyle changes.<\/p>\n<p>Check out these simple steps to put in place\u00a0 now to avoid the \u201cI\u2019ve got to do something!\u201d syndrome later.<\/p>\n<p><strong><!--more-->1.\u00a0Eat breakfast everyday<\/strong>: Eating breakfast keeps your brain sharp and helps you concentrate better. Skipping breakfast not only keeps your brain in a fog, but causes you to overeat later in the day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.\u00a0Practice my \u201c30\/5&#8243; rule<\/strong>: Move and get sweaty for at least 30 minutes,\u00a0five times a week. This rule gets your heart pumping and excess fat burning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.\u00a0Spread it out<\/strong>: To keep your <a title=\"master your metabolism\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diets\/jillian-michaels-master-your-metabolism\/\" target=\"_self\">metabolism<\/a> in tip-top, fat-burning condition, spread your caloric intake throughout the day. Eating the bulk of your calories in 1 or 2 meals causes your blood sugar levels to spike and leads to fat storage instead of fat burning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.\u00a0Start early<\/strong>: Studies have shown that performing cardiovascular exercises first thing in the morning helps you to burn more calories throughout the day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.\u00a0Eat lots of \u201cfree\u201d food<\/strong>: Veggies, veggies and more veggies. Since vegetables are mostly water, I consider them a \u201cfree\u201d food. You\u2019ll get lots of nutrients, vitamins and minerals, but no cholesterol, added fat or processed sugar in these puppies.
