I reread &#8220;<a title=\"eat right for your type\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diets\/Eat_Right_for_Your_Type\/\" target=\"_self\">Eat Right 4 Your Type<\/a>&#8221; by Peter J. Adamo and realized what he said about my blood type made total sense.<\/p>\n<p>I have type &#8220;A&#8221; blood, and according to Adamo, those with blood type &#8220;A&#8221; do much better on a <a title=\"vegetarian diet\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diets\/Vegetarian_Diet\/\" target=\"_self\">vegetarian diet<\/a>.\u00a0We have low stomach acid and trouble digesting animal protein.<!--more-->This explained a lot of digestive issues I&#8217;ve been having the past few years.\u00a0I\u00a0had my gallbladder taken\u00a0out in early 2026 and have been taking digestive enzymes since late 2026.\u00a0I never thought I could change the way I eat to combat some of the problems.\u00a0I thought I was eating healthy.\u00a0After all, I had lost 100\u00a0pounds by changing my eating habits and exercising.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been following Adam&#8217;s recommendations for\u00a0four weeks now.\u00a0I thought I&#8217;d look or feel better by now. I thought I&#8217;d lose weight by now. So far I haven\u2019t noticed any changes.\u00a0Apparently it can take anywhere from\u00a0two weeks to\u00a0six months for the changes to be noticeable.\u00a0I look forward to the day when I feel lighter, when I have detoxed and have more energy.<\/p>\n<p>I had a close encounter with meat a few times, but generally I am not craving it at all. I love vegetables, fruits, whole grains and soy products, so I\u2019m enjoying my new meals. I still eat omega-3 eggs, nonfat plain <a title=\"greek yogurt\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/02\/we-love-greek-yogurt\/\" target=\"_self\">Greek yogurt<\/a> and certain fish.\u00a0I have cut wheat from my diet, hoping it would help with the bloated feeling.\u00a0Not sure I\u2019ve noticed any difference yet.
