For busty women, the gym can be almost as much of a hazard as it can be a benefit. Just as your daily bra is an important piece of equipment in your wardrobe, wearing the right sports bra is absolutely necessary to protect your breasts<\/a> from the impact they take during a workout.<\/p>\n

“Sports bras provide the exerciser with support and cut down on movement during jarring exercise, which can not only cause discomfort, but in some cases, tissue damage,” says Kelly Turner<\/a>, DietsInReview.com fitness contributor.<\/p>\n

We put out a call for the best sports bras on the market. We tried several in their own 5K runs<\/a> and found that we most like the CW-X Xtra Support Zip bra and the Champion 360-Degree Max Support. Both have breathable mesh fabric, look flattering under shirts, racer-back design and best of all give those well-endowed girls the up-top support they need.<\/p>\n

This is not a $10 cotton sports bra from the discount store. You know, the ones that create the unsightly boob-tube and give your breasts no more support than a pair of tennis shoes would? If anyone is still burning bras, we’re burning those!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The CW-X Xtra Support Zip<\/a><\/strong> bra was our hands-down favorite, namely because when it came to support those babies weren’t going anywhere once it was zipped. The front zip made it easy to get in and out of. While it may appear to be bulky in your hands, it comfortably fit underneath our thinnest of workout T-shirts. The bra is made of Lycra and Coolmax, as well as Healtha+ mesh, allow for hygienic breathability and the moisture wicking. This bra retails for $65.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>We also really liked the Champion 360-Degree Max Support<\/a><\/strong> bra. This also fit well and gave fantastic support. There was just a slight amount of give when running, but not anything concerning. The super-soft material fits well under a shirt, and the breathable mesh and moisture-wicking fabric keeps skin dry. This is made of nylon, spandex and polyester. The bra has a classic hook-and-eye closure in the back. It retails for $40.<\/p>\n

Just like a runner invests in a quality pair of running shoes, or a yogi invests in the best mat<\/a>, if you’re committed to a fitness regimen, you need to invest in a quality sports bra.
