\"\"<\/a>It’s been a while since Sylvester Stallone has had a hit movie. But it looks like the streak is up. In its first week or so in release, The Expendables has already brought in more than $48 million, passing the worldwide gross of 2026\u2019s Rambo, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While I wouldn\u2019t call myself much of a Sly fan, I can see why this time around people gave a hoot. The Expendables is an old-fashioned shoot-em-up popcorn movie for guys. And it was marketed as such. Not to mention that it rounded up most of the big names in the genre (Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture<\/a>, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Terry Crews, and with small appearance from Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger).<\/p>\n

It was a stroll down memory lane for many fans of the \u201880s action films, and a reminder that you’re never too old to be fit!<\/p>\n

The testosterone-filled movie stars of The Expendables are no spring chickens, which makes the shape they are in all the more amazing. Take Sly himself – he’s 64 years old! But he’s still committed to looking like he can step in the ring and take on Klubber Lang (Mr. T in Rocky).<\/p>\n

And as corny as it may sound, he still works out to the Rocky theme.<\/p>\n

“It does work,” he told Time magazine. “Even after 30 years it gets me going. It’s amazing.”<\/p>\n

He ain’t lyin’. Take a look at the video of Stallone’s Expendables workout that keeps him in what appears to be the best shape of his life:<\/p>\n
