In recent years, there have been a number of shows dealing with hoarding, drug addiction, and various obsessive compulsive disorders. E!’s new show, What’s Eating You, examines the world of eating disorders<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Produced by 3 Ball Productions, the same people who brought you The Biggest Loser<\/a>, What’s Eating you will premier October 13 on E!.<\/p>\n

This doesn’t appear to be your run-of-the-mill eating disorder show. What’s Eating You will chronicle the stories of 12 people who suffer from extreme and gawk-worthy disorders.<\/p>\n

Each one-hour episode of “What’s Eating You” will introduce viewers to two new patients. Some examples include a man who will eat an entire pack of gum to feel full and a woman who eats out of trash cans then purges herself.<\/p>\n

Obviously, it doesn’t sound like it’s for the faint of heart. But with the help of medical professionals, therapists and nutrition specialists, the show’s participants try to find their way out of the horror of their disorders.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
