While it may sound a bit\u00a0strange to eat a <a title=\"What's Lurking in Your Veggie Burger\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/08\/whats-lurking-in-your-veggie-burger\/\" target=\"_self\">veggie burger<\/a> made out of different kinds of fungi, keep in mind that because of their meaty texture, mushrooms, especially portabellos, make great alternatives to beef or poultry. I loved them both , but I did not taste a strong cheesy flavor in the Cheese Burger. Both varieties had a nice combination of spices and flavors and the Quorn texture is both chewy and dense, making for a super satiating meal. \u00a0The burgers are best eaten immediately once they are cooked, because like any burger, meat or meat-less, they tend dry fairly quickly.<\/p>\n<p>I often chop the burgers up and add them to a huge salad of greens, tomatoes, cucumbers and other veggies. Then I make a quick Dijon dressing as a play on the burger theme.<\/p>\n<p>Quorn products can be found in the freezer section of your grocery store. If you can\u2019t find them next to other frozen veggie burgers, \u00a0you might want to poke around the store to see if there is a natural foods freezer section.
