\"\"<\/a>October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! While you’ve probably already read about Diets in Review’s 3rd annual Blogs Against Breast Cancer campaign<\/a>, we wanted to give you a few more fun products to sport and show your support for finding a cure for breast cancer.<\/p>\n

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women<\/a>, and the number one cause of cancer death in Hispanic women. It is also the second most common cause of cancer death in white, black, Asian\/Pacific Islander and American Indian\/Alaska Native women. With an estimated 1 in 8 women in the United States at risk for developing invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime, it’s safe to say that most of us have had someone in our lives, our ourselves, affected by breast cancer.<\/p>\n

When it comes to preventing and curing breast cancer<\/a>, there are a ton of charities to give to, and recently a number of companies are turning their products pink in the name of breast cancer awareness. Here are a few of those that caught our eye!<\/p>\n

Breast Cancer Awareness Gear<\/strong><\/p>\n

Support Your Girls. <\/strong>If you’re a woman, you can “Support Your Girls<\/a>” with this tongue-in-cheek shirt from Moving Comfort. Five dollars from each T-shirt sold will be donated to Bright Pink<\/a>, a national non-profit organization that provides education and support to young women who are at high risk for breast and ovarian cancer.<\/p>\n

Project Pink. <\/strong>As part of Puma’s Project Pink initiative, 100 percent of the proceeds from all of Puma’s Project Pink gear<\/a> will benefit a breast cancer charity that decided on by Puma fans.<\/p>\n

Lace Up for the Cure. <\/strong>From shoes to technical T’s to iPod holders, New Balance has quite the array of pink products this year. With free shipping on all Race for the Cure products, New Balance will contribute 5 percent of the suggested retail price of sales from the Lace Up for the Cure collection<\/a> with a guaranteed minimum donation of $500,000 each year to Susan G. Komen for the Cure through 2026.<\/p>\n

A Crucial Catch. <\/strong>The NFL has partnered with the American Cancer Society for a big breast cancer awareness campaign that includes a store full of football-themed pink goodies<\/a> for both the ladies and the gentlemen. Real men really do wear pink.<\/p>\n

Bella Il Fiore.<\/strong> Sometimes we all need a little rest and recovery. When you’ve over done it, use a pretty Boo Boo Couture Ice Bag<\/a> to ice aching joints. Twenty percent of October sales will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.<\/p>\n

Pink Ribbon Run.<\/strong> Look for the pink Cybex treadmill at your gym. For every mile you log on that machine in October, Cybex will donate ten cents to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.<\/p>\n
