If you don\u2019t like working out in gyms, bootcamp classes may be for you. Most classes are held outdoors in all types of weather. Classes usually last for one hour and include a warm-up and cool-down.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve never taken a bootcamp class expect to be sore and tired, but in a good way. Classes consist of running, calisthenics, aerobics and weight training. Some programs are held Monday through Friday, working different body parts or doing different activities each day. For example, you may do upper body and lower body two days a week plus one day of core work, long runs or hills.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>You don\u2019t need a lot of equipment for a boot camp class, just a mat, dumbbells and some water.\u00a0You\u2019ll be using your own body weight as you go through a series of drills and exercises.\u00a0All exercises are fair game, from pushups to crunches, walking lunges and squats, jumping jacks and sprints. By the end of class your arms and legs will be burning, no doubt about it.<\/p>\n<p>Bootcamp is a great way to get in shape in a short period of time.
