The movie is about a Spartan King and a force of 300 men that\u00a0take on the Persians back in 480 B.C. I believe it is Rated R due to the graphic battle scenes and adult content, but it is still a great movie. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"black;\"><span style=\"Times New Roman;\">Before\u00a0filming, the actors and stunt-men were required to\u00a0pass\u00a0a vigorous <a title=\"workouts\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/category\/fitness\/\" target=\"_self\">workout<\/a> that took months to prepare for. The &#8220;300&#8221; workout consists of\u00a0several movements and lifts totaling to 300 repetitions without stopping or resting. This\u00a0test\u00a0combined physical strength\u00a0and endurance with mental strength and endurance. The men recruited for this film ranged from young body builders and those in perfect lean fighting shape to men 40 to 50 pounds overweight. With proper diet and tough workouts, the men in this film were well prepared for the big screen. <\/span><\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"black;\"><span style=\"Times New Roman;\">This workout is not for everyone, but if you are bored with yours and need something new to train for, here you go:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"black;\"><span style=\"Times New Roman;\">25 pull-ups <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"black;\"><span style=\"Times New Roman;\">50 dead lifts at 135 pounds <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"black;\"><span style=\"Times New Roman;\">50 push-ups <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"black;\"><span style=\"Times New Roman;\">50 box jumps with a 24-inch box <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"black;\"><span style=\"Times New Roman;\">50 &#8220;floor wipers&#8221; (a core and shoulders exercise at 135 pounds) <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"black;\"><span style=\"Times New Roman;\">50 &#8220;clean and press&#8221; at 36 pounds (a weight-lifting exercise) <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"black;\"><span style=\"Times New Roman;\">25 more pull-ups &#8212; for a total of 300 reps <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"black;\"><span style=\"Times New Roman;\">If you have any questions or a success story\u00a0please feel free to leave a comment!!
