The measure will go into effect on January 1, 2026. It&#8217;s designed to help Americans make informed nutritional choices about the most popular cuts of meat, like brisket, tenderloin steak, boneless chicken breast and ground <a title=\"Turkey Burgers\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/recipes\/italian-turkey-burgers\/\" target=\"_self\">turkey<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;More and more, busy American families want nutrition information that they can quickly and easily understand,&#8221; said Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack. &#8220;We need to do all we can to provide nutrition labels that will help consumers make informed decisions.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Like other the nutritional panels on other products, the new labels will carry the number of <a title=\"Calorie Count\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diets\/calorie-count\/\" target=\"_self\">calories<\/a>, and the grams of fat in the product.
