Here are some of the health-related statistics Wyaski chose to highlight:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alabama&#8217;s Shame: Stroke<\/strong><br \/>\nOklahoma and Alabama are tied for the highest rates of stroke at 3.8 percent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arizona&#8217;s Shame: Highest Rate of Alcoholism<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Connecticut&#8217;s Shame: Breast Cancer<\/strong><br \/>\nOn Average, 134.1 out 100,000 have breast cancer in Connecticut, according to <a title=\"Breast Cancer Rates by State\" href=\"http:\/\/www.statehealthfacts.org\/comparemaptable.jsp?ind=469&amp;cat=10&amp;sub=112&amp;sort=a\" target=\"_blank\">StateHealthFacts.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Georgia&#8217;s Shame: Most Sickly<\/strong><br \/>\nBased on the highest rate of influenza.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kansas&#8217; Shame: Poorest Health<\/strong><br \/>\nBased on the highest number of sick days taken per month, at 3.5 per days.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kentucky&#8217;s Shame: Most Cancer Deaths<\/strong><br \/>\nIt&#8217;s not surprising to find out that Kentucky also has the highest rate of tobacco smokers, at 25.6 percent of the population.<\/p>\n<p><strong><!--more-->Mississippi&#8217;s Shame: Obesity<br \/>\n<\/strong>Over 35 percent of this state&#8217;s population is obese. <strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wisconsin&#8217;s Shame: Binge Drinking<br \/>\n<\/strong>Over 23 percent of this state engages in binge drinking.<\/p>\n<p>Tell us what you think!
