But what if you do end up at Pizza Hut, totally ravenous and wanting to eat something that won&#8217;t break the calorie or sodium bank? You do the best you can.<\/p>\n<p>We recently trolled the pizza-chain\u2019s menu trying to find meals that had less than 500 calories and less than 500 milligrams of sodium, according to feedback from\u00a0<a title=\"me first\" href=\"http:\/\/nurtureprinciples.com\/category\/blog\/\" target=\"_blank\">registered dietitian Rebecca Scritchfield<\/a> and the\u00a0<strong><a title=\"sodium guidelines\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/02\/new-dietary-guidelines-address-heart-health-just-in-time-for-american-heart-month\/\" target=\"_self\">new daily sodium recommendations<\/a><\/strong>. The results weren&#8217;t plentiful, but when paired with some raw veggies, a piece of fruit or a small salad with no-sodium dressing, you can make a healthy mea!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Healthiest Meals at Pizza Hut<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. One Slice of 12-inch Green Pepper, Red Onion &amp; Diced Red Tomato\u00a0Fit &#8216;n Delicious Pizza. <\/strong>With 150 calories and 400 milligrams of sodium this is the healthiest piece of pizza the chain offers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. One Slice of Cheese Only 12-inch Pizza Mia Pizza. <\/strong>Once slice of this cheese pizza will set you back 200 calories and 490 milligrams of sodium, making it your second-best choice at Pizza Hut.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Two Baked Hot Wings Without Dipping Sauce. <\/strong>Two hot baked wings have only 100 calories and 440 milligrams of sodium. Just be sure to resist the salty dipping sauces &#8212; all of them have 400 milligrams of sodium or more per serving!<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Two All American Bone-Out or Traditional Wings. <\/strong>Without the dipping sauces, these two choices come in well under our criteria.<\/p>\n<p>Remember that at Pizza Hut it&#8217;s all about portion control and rounding out your meal with some healthy goodies from home.
