Under medical supervision, he follows a 60-day <strong><a title=\"Juice Fast\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diets\/Juice_Diet\/\">juice fast<\/a><\/strong>, and commits to only drink juices made from fresh fruits and vegetables. Along his journey, he speaks with hundreds of Americans about their diets.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->In his director&#8217;s statement, Joe Cross shares the magnitude of the undertaking: &#8220;Making this movie changed my life, opened my eyes and re-focused my mission on something that is startling simple and utterly effective: helping people reclaim their health and vitality as I did by consuming more <strong><a title=\"How to Eat More Fruits and Vegetables\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/12\/sneaky-ways-to-eat-more-fruits-and-vegetables\/\">fruits and vegetables<\/a><\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The film has won a number of awards, including the Turing Point Award at the Sonoma International Film Festival, and the award for best documentary at the Iowa Independent Film Festival. The film is now showing at theaters and festivals around the country.
