Why? It\u2019s spring break!<\/p>\n<p>Then comes summer. Either of these events can put a huge strain on you when attempting to keep your workouts on track while catering to kids of all ages and keeping them busy during their break from school. Actually, the only people who call it a<br \/>\nbreak are school officials. I\u2019m sure you have other words for it.<\/p>\n<p>However, you can survive the \u201cbreak\u201d and keep your <strong><a title=\"workout routine\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/04\/a-workout-regimen-to-help-lose-baby-weight\/\">workout regimen<\/a><\/strong> on track by following a few simple steps:<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Plan Ahead<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The key to actually making the workout is to plan for it. If you leave it to chance or how you feel that day, it won\u2019t get done. Sit<br \/>\ndown with a calendar and mark off the days and times that you plan to work out. Then take it a step further and plan out what<br \/>\nyou\u2019ll do for each workout. The more specific you are, the more likely you are to actually do it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Hide in Plain Sight<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gather all the items you\u2019ll need during your workout, including shoes, <strong><a title=\"workout music\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/06\/musics-health-benefits-sing-a-happy-tune\/\">iPod<\/a><\/strong>, towel, etc. and put them in a pile, or better yet,<br \/>\nyour workout bag, right where you\u2019ll trip over them. If everything is in one place, ahead of time, and where you look at it all<br \/>\nthe time, you will be less likely to write off your workout and more likely to actually get it done.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Enlist Your Kid&#8217;s Help<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One thing that children get the most enjoyment out of is putting their parents on the spot. So let them in on the fun. Tell them<br \/>\nyour workout plans and let them be your accountability partner(s). Believe me, they will enjoy telling you not to miss it and<br \/>\nkeeping you on track more than you know.<\/p>\n<p>Use these tips to your advantage.
