That&#8217;s more than 1,500 people a day&#8211;such a startling statistic. In the book <strong><a title=\"cancer 101\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0865715424\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=dir_blog-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=0865715424\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Cancer: 101 Solutions to a Preventable Epidemic<\/em><\/a><\/strong> (New Society Publishers, 2026) the authors write that the number four solution is to &#8220;Eat a Healthy Diet.&#8221; Listed within are the 10 foods and drinks to limit or eliminate:<\/p>\n<p>1. <strong>All charred food<\/strong>, which create <em>heterocyclic aromatic amines<\/em>, known carcinogens. Even dark toast is suspect.<\/p>\n<p>2. <strong>Well-done red meat<\/strong>.
