Familiarize yourself with the most <strong><a title=\"dirty dozen\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/05\/pesticides-and-organic-produce\/\">heavily sprayed produce<\/a><\/strong>, known as the &#8216;dirty dozen&#8217; and shop accordingly.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Choose your fruits and vegetables carefully. <\/strong>If you are working to improve your health from a certain condition, ask your doctor or nutritionist to recommend specific ingredients. &#8220;<strong> <\/strong>Kale, and chard and spinach are great for juicing,&#8221; said <strong><a title=\"barbara mendez nutrition\" href=\"http:\/\/www.barbaramendeznutrition.com\/\">Barbara Mendez<\/a><\/strong>, a registered pharmacist with an advanced degree in nutrition. &#8220;Cucumbers are great for reducing puffiness and ginger is anti-inflammatory. Carrots are known to help purify the skin and liver and lemon or lime has great cleansing properties.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shop carefully for a juicer<\/strong>. While there are a variety of juicers on the market intended for use in home kitchens, Mendez recommends a <strong><a title=\"champion juicier\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B000E4C53M\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=dir_blog-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399369&amp;creativeASIN=B000E4C53M\" target=\"_blank\">Champion Juicer<\/a><\/strong>, or one of equal quality, because it extracts the most pulp from the fruits and vegetables for maximum nutrition. When you&#8217;re shopping for a juicer, make sure you&#8217;re looking for one that is easy to clean &#8211; so juicing doesn&#8217;t seem like a chore.
