Among those  excuses are mentions of how pricey it can be to buy <strong><a title=\"gym membership\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/09\/how-to-score-the-best-deal-on-a-gym-membership\/\">gym memberships<\/a><\/strong> or  workout equipment for the home. Those excuses seem fair to most people, but what if you were told that some of the fittest people in the country  have no money and no access to any standard gym equipment? An attorney  found this to be true as he dealt with clients in California  correctional facilities.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Felon Fitness Gets You Prisoner Ripped Without Being Behind Bars\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/10\/felon-fitness-gets-you-prisoner-ripped-without-being-behind-bars\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-57384\" title=\"felon fitness\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/felon-fitness.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"180\" height=\"208\" \/><\/a>After  seeing how incredibly strong and fit inmates became during their time  in prison, attorney William Kroger and his friend, a trainer, Trey  Tuefel, devised a workout plan called Felon Fitness. Now, they\u2019ve  written a book, <strong><a title=\"Felon Fitness: How to Get a Hard Body Without Doing Hard Time\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1440526591\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=wwweasyfreesc-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=1440526591\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Felon Fitness: How to Get a Hard Body Without Doing Hard Time<\/em><\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0 Now all can become prison yard fit without doing time.<\/p>\n<p>In  the 90\u2019s, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation  removed free weights from the prisons. Inmates looking to strengthen up  had to resort to <strong><a title=\"Do Anywhere Body Weight Exercises \" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/08\/fit-in-5-do-anywhere-body-weight-exercises\/\">body-weight exercises<\/a><\/strong>. Exercises such as <strong><a title=\"Benefits of the Classic Push Up\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/09\/the-benefits-of-the-classic-push-up\/\">push-ups<\/a><\/strong>,  cherry pickers, pull-ups, and burpees were done at very high repetitions  to obtain extreme levels of strength.<\/p>\n<p>The tough repetitive body weight workouts are exactly what the book promotes along with a no nonsense diet plan.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The <strong><a title=\"Felon Fitness\" href=\"http:\/\/felonfitness.com\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Felon Fitness<\/a><\/strong> website states the harsh simplicity of the plan. \u201cThe  movements are body-weight based. They are functional. They are hard. Programs utilized by inmates contain an incredible volume of  repetitions, so don&#8217;t think 12 push-ups is going to get you the body  you&#8217;ve always dreamed of having. Multiply that number by ten or so and  you&#8217;ll get an idea as to how many repetitions you&#8217;ll do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As with the workouts, the diet plan is just as straight forward. \u201cStart  eating less! If you are overweight it is likely if not absolutely true  that you eat too much. There may be other reasons you carry extra  weight, but we\u2019d be willing to bet YOU EAT TOO MUCH.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The  authors and creators of Felon Fitness happen to live around the  corner from each other and follow their plan together. Tuefel has been a  trainer for over a decade. Kroger is a 50 year old attorney, husband,  and father. Kroger described himself as being in the best shape of his  life after following the Felon Fitness plan.<\/p>\n<p>The  no frills and no excuses approach to this plan may be what many are  looking for.
