I get paid to teach classes on a schedule and although every class I teach doesn\u2019t provide the best workout for me personally, it\u2019s still scheduled time for me to move. A couple of years ago, I was up to teaching nine classes each week and I felt really great. Gradually though, due to the economy and changes in club scheduling, I started losing classes and now teach only one\u2014a cycling class\u2014each week.<\/p>\n<p>Suddenly it became necessary for me to \u201cfind the time\u201d to exercise. I have been taking <strong><a title=\"Zumba classes\" href=\"http:\/\/suburbanscrawl.com\/2010\/10\/call-me-selfish-but-im-keeping-zumba-just-for-me\/\" target=\"_blank\">Zumba classes<\/a><\/strong> and recently restarted <strong><a title=\"Jillian Michaels diet\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diets\/Jillian_michaels\">Jillian Michaels<\/a><\/strong>\u2019 <strong><a title=\"Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diets\/Jillian_Michaels_30_Day_Shred\/\">30 Day Shred<\/a><\/strong> at home. I\u2019m starting to feel good again, but Thanksgiving looms.<\/p>\n<p>I have nothing against the holiday, really. Thanksgiving is full of family togetherness. Unfortunately, it\u2019s also full of food, which seems to go without saying, but when you\u2019re the type of person who is trying to get back into fighting shape, the thought of a food-focused holiday is a little stressful.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s okay though: I have a plan.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Rather than take the holiday weekend off from my exercise schedule like many people do, I\u2019m putting my sneakers, workout clothes, and iPod on the top of everything else in my suitcase, and I\u2019m actually going to increase my daily workout time. My family won\u2019t mind if I disappear for an hour or more each day to get my fitness on, and I might even have some company.
