And my friends,\u00a0it doesn&#8217;t look pretty. Get out the smelling salts and\u00a0sit down as you read\u00a0on about how nutritionally-offensive some\u00a0of your\u00a0favorite restaurant and\u00a0grocery store\u00a0eats\u00a0stack up:<\/p>\n<p>(FYI: This list is in no particular order. It&#8217;s all bad news.)<\/p>\n<p>1. Bob Evans\u2019\u00a0banana pecan pancakes\u00a0 = \u00a01,543 calories<\/p>\n<p>2. Marie Callender\u2019s Creamy Parmesan Chicken Pot Pie\u00a0= 1,060 calories<\/p>\n<p>3. Blimpie Veggie Supreme 12&#8243; = 1,106 calories<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>4. Dairy Queen 6-Piece Chicken Strip Basket = 1,270 calories<\/p>\n<p>5. T.G.I. Friday&#39;s Pecan-crusted Chicken Salad is a diet disaster.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>6. P.F. Chang\u2019s Tam\u2019s Noodles = 1,678 calories<\/p>\n<p>7. Uno Chicago Grill Pizza Skins (full order) = 2,400 calories<\/p>\n<p>8.\u00a0 Uno Chicago Grill Chicago Classic Deep Dish Pizza = 2,310 calories<\/p>\n<p>9. <a title=\"fast food fish sandwiches\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/02\/fast-food-fish-sandwiches-make-for-lenten-calorie-bombs\/\" target=\"_self\">Quizno\u2019s Tuna Melt<\/a> (large) = 2,090 calories<\/p>\n<p>10. Romano\u2019s Macaroni Grill Spaghetti and Meatballs with Meat Sauce = 2,430 calories<\/p>\n<p>That is half of this eye-opening list. That&#8217;s probably enough to scare us for now.<\/p>\n<p>So what can you do if you&#8217;ve spotted one of your favorite foods on this list? Make some substitutions, opt for no cheese on the tuna melt and\/or\u00a0don&#8217;t just split these entrees, but rather <a title=\"portion control \" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/01\/know-your-portion-sizes\/\" target=\"_self\">portion<\/a> them out across four meals (part of horror of these numbers comes from the gargantuan portion sizes).<\/p>\n<p>You can also experiment by making your own version of\u00a0 T.G.I. Friday&#8217;s Pecan Crusted Chicken Salad at home so that you can control all of the ingredients and cooking techniques.<\/p>\n<p>Also, before you dine out, check out the <a title=\"restaurant report by health magazine\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/04\/health-magazines-restaurant-report\/\" target=\"_self\">restaurant&#8217;s<\/a> websites for the nutritional stats of all of their meals.
