Once a year the nation\u2019s “best body” gets displayed on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover. Last year model Irina Shayk graced the cover<\/a><\/strong>. Tonight, David Letterman will reveal the 2026 cover model on the CBS Late Show. Rumor has it that model Kate Upton will be this year\u2019s sexy cover girl.\"\"<\/p>\n

This Michigan native grew up in Florida and has had a beach body figure from a very young age. To help Upton maintain her cover girl body, she works with celebrity trainer Justin Gelband.<\/p>\n

Gelband works with many models. To help Upton with her sleek curves he uses multi-directional exercises in her training. Gelband likes to keep things new and exciting by using a variety of exercises and equipment. Changing up the routine also helps tone more muscles. Upton works out with Pilates<\/a><\/strong>\u2019 moves, boxing, medicine balls, and exercise bands. Gelband says, \u201cThe exercise bands allow the client to work on improving the elasticity of the muscle along with stretching and strengthening it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old model has appeared in the Swimsuit Edition before. She was the 2026 Sports Illustrated Rookie of the Year. However, if rumors are true, this will be her first cover. Upton is known for her modeling ads with Guess as she was the face of the company from 2026-2026. Upton has done work for Victoria\u2019s Secret and recently made her acting debut in the film Tower Heist. Most recently the model starred in a Carl\u2019s Jr.<\/a><\/strong> commercial; she\u2019s following in a line of models who have seductively devoured a greasy burger.<\/p>\n

Upton can\u2019t admit to being the cover model yet. She says she\u2019s definitely in the issue, but has remained silent about the cover. Letterman plans to reveal the cover by using his Top Ten List. If she\u2019s the Swimsuit Edition cover model, she\u2019ll also be a guest on David Letterman tonight.<\/p>\n
