The very first Biggest Loser finale we attended was for season 5. Everyone remembers that one. Bernie Salazar<\/a><\/strong> won the at-home prize (I almost broke my knees at commercial running over to hug his adorable mom Darma!). Ali Vincent<\/a><\/strong> was the first of many pink shirts to win the whole thing. DietsInReview had been “in business” for a little over a year, and we quickly became deeply embedded with the Biggest Loser<\/a><\/strong> family. We like to think we’ve taken good care of them over the years, and we’re grateful to them for taking good care of us.<\/p>\n

The Biggest Loser finale for season 13 is just a day away and it’s hard to believe we’re headed for the West coast to cover our ninth finale! During the past four years we’ve seen a lot, heard a lot, and been a part of a lot that most finale attendees don’t even get to be a part of, much less the viewers at home. So, I’m letting you in on some of my favorite parts of attending finale. Hear which band Alison Sweeney<\/a><\/strong> rocks out to during commercial breaks, what a pre-finale workout looks like for the alumni, and who’s dishing up pre-finale eats, plus so much more!<\/p>\n
