While the docs and the audience get in on the good, aerobic time, Simmons also brings a dose of seriousness. Simmons will help one dangerously overweight audience member find the motivation to begin exercise and lose weight.<\/p>\n<p>This installment of <strong><a title=\"the doctors\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/the-doctors\">The Doctors<\/a><\/strong> will be memorable, for sure. Until then, a few of Simmons\u2019 13 secrets are being revealed so we all can get a head start on our plan to get thin by summer.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/RcMNHbODbcE\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"480\" height=\"274\"><\/iframe><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>1. <strong>Can\u2019t afford a gym membership?<\/strong> Simmons suggest <strong><a title=\"workout at home\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/saturday-morning-drills\">exercising at home<\/a><\/strong> with items you already have. Use tights or stockings like resistance bands to work the shoulders, biceps, and upper back. Simmons also suggests <strong><a title=\"kitchen workout\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/02\/pantry-workout-get-fit-with-your-kitchen-staples\/\">paper plate push ups<\/a><\/strong>. By using a paper plate under your hands, you can adjust the distance between your hand in between each push up for a more intense workout.<\/p>\n<p>2. <strong>Lie to you restaurant server<\/strong>. Yep, that\u2019s right. Simmons says to \u201cfake a butter allergy.\u201d By telling your server this, the chefs are more likely to honor your request and keep hundreds of unwanted calories and fat off your plate while dining out.<\/p>\n<p>3. <strong>Text a friend<\/strong>. Simmons suggest you ditch the food diary and create a \u201ctext accountability system.\u201d By texting a friend what you have eaten each day, your chances of staying on track are higher.<\/p>\n<p>4. <strong>Get off the mouse wheel<\/strong> and add excitement to your exercise. Since running nowhere on a treadmill could make anyone give up exercise, Simmons says to switch things up and take on a challenge, like a <strong><a title=\"swimming workouts\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/02\/a-beginners-guide-to-swimming-workouts\/\">water resistance course<\/a><\/strong>. Dr. Jim Sears even gets in on this challenge and shows the audience how a water bootcamp can burn up to 600 calories an hour.
