But instead of indulging, try this five-ingredient smoothie that tastes just like strawberry shortcake. Blend for 60 seconds, and you\u2019ll have a strawberry\u00a0shortcake treat!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>If you\u2019d like to make it taste like chocolate, add some chocolate flavored protein powder.<!--more--><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a great snack or a meal replacement because there is protein in the smoothie. If\u00a0you\u2019re just making it as a treat, you can eliminate the protein powder and just make a fruit\u00a0smoothie.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quick snacks for the beach<\/strong><br \/>\nSpending the whole day at the beach? Make sure you are eating every three to four hours to\u00a0avoid headaches and low energy. Here are some quick snacks to take to the beach:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cut up watermelon: this fruit is loaded with water and is a great cool-me-down snack.\u00a0Cut some up and put it in a plastic container \u2013 you don\u2019t even need silverware!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Trail mix (sans chocolate): mix together some nuts and dried fruit for a sweet and\u00a0nutritious snack that won\u2019t melt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>An apple and individual peanut butter packs: squeeze some gooey peanut butter onto\u00a0bites of your apple.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a title=\"5 healthiest breakfast foods\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/11\/5-healthiest-breakfast-foods\/\">A protein smoothie<\/a><\/strong>: make this at home and take it in an insulated go-cup!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Often times, all it takes is a little bit of planning ahead to stay on a healthy eating plan. Along\u00a0with planning also comes the routine of eating every few hours instead of saving up for a\u00a0couple of big meals during the day.
