The question submitted read: &#8220;What advice would you give to a young woman with body issues? I&#8217;ve never been happy with my body and I feel like <strong><a title=\"poor body image\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/06\/body-dysmorphic-disorder-double-the-risk-of-suicide-with-poor-body-image\/\">it&#8217;s preventing me from loving myself<\/a><\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Bodies: Ask Amy\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/iOWqSPJZtmA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Amy had some wise words to say on the topic and we couldn&#8217;t help but share.\u00a0One of her best pieces of advice? &#8216;Try to picture yourself talking to your younger sister or your own daughter, because you would tell them that they&#8217;re beautiful and you wouldn&#8217;t be lying, because she is.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The next time you look in the mirror and start picking yourself apart, remember Amy&#8217;s advice: Every body is different, and we&#8217;ll be happier in life if we learn to let go of the things that don&#8217;t matter be it our round bottom or our seemingly too-square chin.
