The much-anticipated return of Biggest Loser is slated for January 6, when the show debuts its 14th season in a two-night, four-hour premiere! NBC is calling it a season unlike any other, and with three children joining the cast for the first time in show history that might turn out to be an understatement.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The three children, sure to be a point of interest for fans and critics alike, include two teen girls and one boy. Thirteen-year-old Noah “Biingo” Gray<\/strong>, a self-described \u201cskinny kid trying to get out of a fat teenager\u2019s body\u201d aspiring to be a professional baseball player. Sanjana \u201cSunny\u201d Chandrasekar<\/strong> is a 16-year-old girl who struggles with self-confidence because of her weight in spite of an impressive AP class and extracurricular schedule. And at 13, Lindsay Bravo<\/strong> misses her cheerleading days she gave up because of teasing.<\/p>\n

Each of the three trainers, Bob Harper, Dolvett Quince, and returning Jillian Michaels<\/a><\/strong>, will each have one teen on their teams and five adult contestants.<\/p>\n

Jillian’s return, now with the perspective of a new mom, the introduction of three teens, not to mention a new logo aren’t the only changes this season. The show’s original dietitian, Cheryl Forberg, RD returns<\/a><\/strong> along with pediatric obesity expert Dr. Joanna Dolgoff. As Cheryl has each season with the contestants, Dolgoff will work extremely closely with the teens to not only monitor what they’re eating but educate them on how to do so for themselves. \u201cRed Light, Green Light, Eat Right<\/a><\/strong>\u201d is her book that features the kid-focused healthy eating plan the Biggest Loser teens will follow.<\/p>\n

Other new faces on the show include Jackson Carter<\/strong>, of Layton, Utah, a 21-year-old who becomes Biggest Loser’s first openly gay contestant who has faced bullying for both his weight and sexual orientation. He works as a volunteer coordinator for an LGBT youth outreach center.<\/p>\n

Lisa Rambo<\/strong>, of Houlton, Wisconsin, is another highlighted contestant this season, a mother of four who works as a high school special education assistant and wants to be a better role model for all of the children in her life.<\/p>\n

And not the first police officer on this show, David Jones<\/strong>, of Kiefer, Oklahoma, at 307 pounds is struggling to keep up with the physical demands of his job.<\/p>\n

The other adult contestants competing for the $250,000 prize will be:<\/p>\n

Pamela Geil<\/strong>: 43, Executive Assistant, New York, NY<\/p>\n

Cate Laughlin<\/strong>: 28, Student, Ransomville, NY<\/p>\n

Gina McDonald<\/strong>: 47, Attorney, Hoover, AL<\/p>\n

Nate Montgomery<\/strong>: 25, Financial Advisor, Colorado Springs, CO<\/p>\n

Francelina Morillo<\/strong>: 25, Student and Store Manager, Albany, NY<\/p>\n

Jeff Nichols<\/strong>: 24, Pharmaceutical Rep, Monroe, MI<\/p>\n

Joe Ostaszewski<\/strong>: 43, Senior sales executive, Williston, FL<\/p>\n

Thomas \u201cTC\u201d Pool<\/strong>: 31, Purchasing manager, Albany, OR<\/p>\n

Alexandra \u201cAlex\u201d Reid<\/strong>: 24, Legal Assistant, Carrolton, TX<\/p>\n
