It probably won\u2019t come as a surprise that I often recommend fresh fruit. I love fruit-based bites, and a new survey suggests I\u2019m not alone. Fresh fruit is the top snack food here in the United States, beating out chocolate and potato chips, according to<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/nrn.com\/what039s-hot\/study-fruit-america-s-favorite-snack\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">The NPD Group<\/a><\/strong>. (Way to go, Americans!)<\/p>\n<p>It turns out that fresh fruit meets the many needs of snackers who worry about health and weight. They want something that is convenient and will <strong><a title=\"how to satisfy a craving\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/02\/satisfy-a-chocolate-craving-on-a-diet\/\">satisfy both their hunger and cravings<\/a><\/strong>, the survey reports.
