My soon-to-be three-year-old daughter asks to make pancakes most mornings of the week and every day I have to sadly decline. I make up for it by giving her a frozen waffle so we can all eat and get out the door. They&#8217;re both organic, whole grain, have a few bites of blueberries, and taste really good. They both also run almost four dollars for six waffles. Lately I&#8217;ve been trying to make more of our own bread and <strong><a title=\"feta salad dressing\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/02\/homemade-and-fat-free-creamy-feta-salad-dressings-two-ways\/\">homemade salad dressing<\/a><\/strong> to save money and ensure we&#8217;re eating the best quality food. I like mine with fresh berries and honey. My daughter likes them as is or dipped in honey. When served dry, they are a really healthy, really simple on-the-go breakfast that she can eat in the car. I just divide the waffles with parchment or wax paper and freeze in a baggy. Mist waffle iron with cooking spray.<\/p>\n<p>2. Combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.<\/p>\n<p>3. Combine wet ingredients, with the apple, in a different bowl. Then, add to the dry and stir until well combined.<\/p>\n<p>4. Pour over waffle iron until edges are crispy and brown.<\/p>\n<p>5.
