{"id":87844,"date":"2013-04-26T08:00:55","date_gmt":"2013-04-26T13:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/?p=87844"},"modified":"2013-04-26T14:53:49","modified_gmt":"2013-04-26T19:53:49","slug":"study-up-25-healthiest-colleges-list-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/04\/study-up-25-healthiest-colleges-list-released\/","title":{"rendered":"Study Up: 25 Healthiest Colleges List Released"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Greatist.com has released their <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/greatist.com\/health\/healthiest-colleges\" rel=\"nofollow\">annual list of the 25 healthiest college campuses<\/a><\/strong> just in time for the end of the school year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Washington-University-St.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-87845\" alt=\"25 Healthiest Colleges\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Washington-University-St.jpg\" width=\"604\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Washington-University-St.jpg 604w, https:\/\/dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Washington-University-St-300x198.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ranking process started with nominations from readers, reader suggestions from last year&#8217;s list, surveys from the College Prowler and Princeton Review and examination of over 100 colleges&#8217; websites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Each school is scored for its dining services and awards, fitness facilities, health services, happiness rankings, and <strong><a title=\"college health \" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/college-health\">health and fitness initiatives<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>The top five schools on this year&#8217;s list are Bowdoin College, Stanford University, Virginia Tech, Rice University and Washington University in St. Louis.<!--more--><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>All of the top five campuses feature dining halls that provide students with a <strong><a title=\"tips for eating healthy in college\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/08\/4-healthy-eating-tips-for-college-freshmen\/\">variety of healthy food options<\/a><\/strong> and unique fitness opportunities including<strong> <a title=\"junk food in sports\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/07\/study-finds-junk-food-is-part-of-youth-sports-routine\/\">intramural sports<\/a><\/strong>, fitness centers and discounted or free fitness classes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What do you think?
