Removing 2.5 pounds of skin has him down just under 35 pounds, and his owner wants him to lose about five more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Last fall, Obie was the <a title=\"obie dachsund\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/10\/obie-the-obese-dachshund-falls-into-custody-battle\/\">center of a custody battle<\/a><\/strong> between Vanatta and the Oregon Dachshund Rescue group<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Obie&#8217;s Facebook page has nearly 90,000 fans<\/strong>.
