Dr. Oz claims that he does not make any money off of or endorse any products on his show. However, he oftentimes devotes an entire episode to talking about the newest and hottest miracle pill, such as <strong><a title=\"qnexa review\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/04\/potential-qnexa-users-better-off-with-a-salad-spinner-and-walking-shoes\/\">Qnexa<\/a><\/strong>, which he referred to as &#8220;The Silver Bullet.&#8221; Anything he mentions, people will buy: that&#8217;s the problem. This is a concerning topic we discussed in &#8220;<strong><a title=\"miracle diets dr oz tried to sell us\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/11\/the-6-miracle-diets-dr-oz-tried-to-sell-us-in-2012\/\">The Six Miracle Diets Dr. Oz Tried to Sell us in 2026<\/a><\/strong>.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>While Dr. Oz claims he doesn&#8217;t endorse any products<\/strong>, one of his most recent shows focused entirely on a new trend: relaxation drinks. Such drinks include brands &#8220;Solixir&#8217;s Relax, ViB (Vacation in a Bottle), and iChill Relaxation Shot, all of which claim to help users sleep better and feel more relaxed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Of these products, our resident dietitian <strong><a title=\"Mary Hartley\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/authors\/mary\/\">Mary Hartley, RD<\/a> <\/strong>said: &#8220;The ingredients, such as chamomile, valerian rose hips, yerba mate, lemon balm, and others (over 20 different herbs are used\u00a0among\u00a0the four beverages) are popular traditional herbal alternatives to prescription medications. They are considered to be safe in reasonable doses, but <em>studies of effectiveness are scarce and varied<\/em>. Like many herbal products (and Dr. Oz-endorsed products), they might help or might not, but they are not likely to hurt. Herbs, however, can trigger side effects and can interact with other herbs, supplements, or medications.
