At <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/witandvinegar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Wit &amp; Vinegar<\/a>,<\/strong> of course. W&amp;V is officially my favorite food blog right now and not just because the author, Billy, says things like, &#8220;MTV True Life&#8221; when he wants to be serious and makes Real Housewives references while he &#8216;s describing his latest foodie find.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/08\/food-blogger-spotlight-billy-from-wit-vinegar\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-90848\" alt=\"Wit &amp; Vinegar\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Wit-Vinegar.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Wit-Vinegar.jpg 600w, https:\/\/dietsinreview.com\/diet_column\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Wit-Vinegar-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Wit &amp; Vinegar is Tina Fey meets Bobby Flay! My only question is, when will the Food Network knock on Billy&#8217;s door and offer him a cooking show? I can see him in the kitchen with Moses at his feet while he whips up a new froyo recipe and comments on the playlist he&#8217;s prepared for the episode that blares from the iHome behind him while a disco ball turns overhead. YES! I would totally watch that.<\/p>\n<p>More about Billy and why he created his eclectic blog:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Why did you start your food blog?<\/strong>\u00a0Honestly, it was something to do while I didn&#8217;t have a job. I loved food, and the photography aspect. I had a bunch of free time when I wasn&#8217;t working on school work and it was either start a food blog or watch Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Food Network all day. Now I do it because it&#8217;s a creative outlet\/way to stay connected with insanely awesome people.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How would you describe your approach to eating\/health?<\/strong>\u00a0EVERYTHING IN MODERATION. I used to be that person that would always try and replace the butter or oil in a baked recipe and buy super low fat ice cream. Uh, that stuff is gross. It makes more sense to really enjoy the food you&#8217;re eating instead of sitting in the corner all sad. Also I love a giant salad that I can just slam my face into.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Have you always had an interest in healthy food or did it come later in life?<\/strong>\u00a0It&#8217;s definitely come later in my 23 years of life. I was almost obese in high school and the summer after my senior year it all changed. I still don&#8217;t eat 110% healthy but I try and cut out a lot of the junk\/processed foods. It&#8217;s a balancing act. I should be in a circus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is your favorite (or a few of your favorites) food\/ingredient to use in the kitchen?<\/strong>\u00a0I almost always have an avocado on hand, along with cilantro. They&#8217;re totally not healthy, but they&#8217;re really good, and one of the most popular posts on the site.
