Starting on Saturday, ABC’s program “Extreme Weight Loss<\/a><\/strong>“\u2014not to be confused with NBC’s “The Biggest Loser<\/a><\/strong>“\u2014is casting its fifth season with auditions all across the country.<\/p>\n

According to the casting website<\/a><\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Eyeworks USA is now casting Season 5 of Extreme Weight Loss. Extreme Weight Loss is a unique undertaking that’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen on TV. The show documents the amazing makeover of courageous, obese individuals who set out to safely lose half of their body weight over the course of a year. The metamorphosis is truly amazing.<\/em>

\nTrainer\/transformation specialist Chris Powell guides each of the participants through the process.\u00a0 He’s there to make sure the participants get the proper nourishment and exercise movement. Chris provides a fresh perspective to individuals whose lives have become unmanageable because of their weight.<\/em><\/p>\n

Participants undergo a transformation not only of their bodies, but of who they are as individuals.\u00a0 Each stand-alone episode of Extreme Weight Loss chronicles one participant’s journey. You won’t believe what a difference a year makes!<\/em><\/p>\n
