The goals I'm working toward:

  • Lose 100 pounds
  • Eat 5 servings of fruit and veggies a day
  • Train for the Salt Lake Half Marathon

I haven't felt comfortable with my weight since:

Elementary school - I was the tallest girl there.

My favorite healthy food:

Roasted veggies

My guiltiest pleasure:

I don't have a guiltiest - I can go amuck with anything.

I'm inspired to live a healthy life because:

I want to be able to take my son skiing. I want to look like I could be genetically related to my other son who is skin and bones.

Healthy habits that work for me:

  • Exercise
  • Drinking water
  • Ground flax seed

My favorite activity at the gym is:

Spinning and swimming.

The accomplishments I'm most proud of:

  • Finishing the Nike Women's Half Marathon
  • Winning the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics Teaching
