10 Minute Toner: Sara Haley’s Love-Inspired Circuit Training Workout

I love holidays because they always inspire me to be creative with my workouts. This year I used some of my favorite sayings from Valentine Conversation Hearts to create a full body workout. (And, since everyone always asks me how I fit in my workouts, now that I’m a mom, I thought I’d share with you what really goes on at my house when I work out at home—see the video below!)

Below is a list of the exercises in the circuit, including how many reps to do. The whole thing should take you around 10 minutes. Put on some of your favorite songs—”Call Me Maybe”, anyone?—and do the moves back to back. Most of all, have fun while you’re doing it—you may even be able to recruit your hubby or kiddos to help you out!

 

Sara Haley’s Crazy Conversation Heart’s Circuit

  1. Warm Up: LOVE BUG Bounce: Spend 2-3 minutes here warming up with a simulated jump rope, dance, jog or march in place, shuffle around, etc.
  2. CALL ME Calisthenics: 20-30 jumping jacks (You’re gong to do these in between each exercise.)
  3. SOUL MATE Squats: 20 reps
  4. CALL ME Calisthenics: 20-30 jumping jacks
  5. PUPPLY LOVE Push Ups: 10-20 reps of push-ups to Downward Dog
  6. CALL ME Calisthenics: 20-30 jumping jacks
  7. LOVE YOU . . . LOVE ME Lunges: front lunge (to optional balance) to back lunge 8-12 reps on each leg of a
  8. TEXT ME Triceps Dips: 20 reps
  9. CALL ME Calisthenics: 20-30 jumping jacks
  10. DREAM BIG Burpee: Jump arms and legs out in X position, perform a burpee (squatting to the floor and then jumping out wide)
  11. CALL ME Calisthenics: 20-30 jumping jacks
  12. ANGEL ABS: Lift legs and arms up at the same time to hold.
  13. MISS YOU MALASANA (Garland Pose): Wide sumo squat with rotations to both sides
