This week, the music that’s got me pounding out the miles on the treadmill is sassy, no-nonsense, booty-shakin’ girl music that’s great for the summer season and even better in the gym. Christina Aguilera’s new album is hot and full of all of her trademark attitude. Rihanna always keeps me moving. I’m going to go ahead and say it outloud, I’m kind of digging on Ke$ha right now and her party drama lyrics. And while the radio is wearing it out, Katy Perry’s California Gurls is addictive… like cherry chapstick.
Music at the gym can be wildly motivating. If you’re feeling less than motivated and want to power through your workouts, add songs from this week’s playlist suggestions.
