The Power Plate has become a huge hit in the fitness industry and is great for all ages. The Power Plate is a vibrating device that was designed to stimulate the body’s natural response to vibration. How does it work? Well, the Power Plate’s vibrations create instability and the human body has to recruit tons of muscles throughout the body to help with stabilization.
These muscles range from large muscle groups to small stabilizer groups that are often never exercised and forgotten about. Simple movements on the Power Plate turn into totally body movements due to the vast scale of muscle contractions and recruitment.
The Power Plate comes in all shapes and sizes for personal or commercial use. Each model offers a unique experience to accomplish personal fitness goals. The personal line consists of the Pro5 AIRdaptive, Pro5, My5, and My3. The commercial line consists of the Pro5 AIRdaptive HP, Pro6 with proMOTION, Pro5 AIRdaptive, and Pro5. Try the following movements on a stable surface then on any model of the Power Plate and be amazed at the difference. I recommend performing two to three sets of 15 to 20 repetitions of each of the following movements. Remember to start with a slower level of vibration, then progress steadily to a higher level. Good luck!
