I wish they would bring back individuals instead of just families. I have a lot that I could lose and I also bring a lot to the show, I have a interesting life and interesting story of my weight gain. I just don’t know anyone to go on the show with.
A good show would be for them in season 8 to do something different and have people in there 50’s, healthy but over weight contestants whom find it difficult to lose weight and need guidance by a personal trainer.
Any word on the casting for season 8? I did not even know that they were casting for season 7. I gues in TV land things are so far ahead.
Casting for season eight will probably start sometime between the end of season 6 and beginning of 7. i heard that if you send it in earlier than the casting for the season for which you would like to appear on they throw it out and donteven look at it.
I spoke with our contact at NBC and they confirmed that season 8 casting has not begun. We will stay on top of this and post in the Diet Blog, and announce in the Biggest Loser Updates Newsletter, any new information we receive.

i would really like to be on the biggest loser, im only 20 and im 380 lbs and i just cant seem to do it by my self adn i really need to, i want my son to have a dad when he is 5 and i think at this pace i wont bearound then, but i hope they put info about season 8 up soon

I haven’t seen or heard anything about open casting calls, but I did find this information earlier this evening. Apparently, they are now accepting videos/applications for Season 8. Hi, My husband and I have a request. Could you have a year that there is one married member that has lost a large amont of weight and would like to be on the show with there husband or wife as a surport person. Because I myself have lost over 100lbs it took me three years with only diet and exerize to do it but my husband needs to lose weight he is 6’4 about 340 or more and he just can’t do it even with my help and he really whats it, this was something he though up and wanted me to sumit it.. I am 52 and he is 54 I am in very good health now but he is not, do to his weight. no heart problem that we know of but high blood prusure and clotel, I think this would make for a good show. Becaues just because you live with someone that is dieting and exerizeing don’t mean you can just jump on the tran and ride along it don’t work that way. Just think about it. He needs a lot more than my help hear at home.
