With all the information the contestants learn on the ranch, Alison and Prevention Magazine put their knowledge to the test with questions on health and aging. The team that answers the most questions correctly wins an amazing “Fountain of Youth” package in St. Augustine, Florida from Prevention Magazine! The black team snags a great rest and relaxation prize for their team.
Winning the three pound advantage in this week’s challenge, the black team doesn’t even need it to wipe the scale clean with the blue team. The black team beats the blue team and sends them into the elimination room. Making a choice to send one of your players home is tough. You have to think of what is the best outcome for your team and always end up sending home a friend. When the votes came in it was Dane who was sent home. After losing 100 pounds in 8 weeks, Dane can say he’s accomplished a lot and working toward much more. Dane ran his first marathon alongside his wife. He plans to run many more in the near future and is working hard toward the $100,000 at-home prize.

It appears that Bob’s team stuck together and kept Ron and sent Dane… that is what I gathered. 🙁 But this season, I enjoy them all so more power to those who vote. Such a fun season!
Honestly … I am SURPRISED they sent Dane home … especially since Ron is pulling low numbers. That’s one thing they’ve been doing … consistently surprising me …
Everyone has to make the choice on what they think is best, but in the long run, they are sending home a friend … and that I’m sure hurts a lot.
hi great recap you are so enlightening!
this episode was a tear jerker when basicly both teams switched trainers. My heart broke for Bob.
