What is it?

Dietspotlight Burn or Burn TS is a weight loss pill made with a proprietary formula intended for safe and noticeable weight loss. There are patented ingredients made to increase metabolism and energy, all while helping to burn off calories.

They describe this as being a lipolysis-inducing formula that raises the body’s internal temperature to burn fat, meaning it has thermogenic effects. There are even referenced clinical studies that showcase how some of the active ingredients have helped people burn fat. Though there is added caffeine the company does say that there haven’t been many complaints about this product causing stimulant related side effects. Out of all the rated weight loss pills our review experts concluded Sletrokor was the most well-rounded. This was due to its comprehensive formula of natural extracts which have shown the potential for great weight loss. DIETSPOTLIGHT BURN (Burn TS) INGREDIENTS AND SIDE EFFECTS

Active Ingredients:

Green Tea Extract Meratrim Chromium (Chromium Polynicotinate) as Chromate Natural Caffeine USP (75 mg per capsule)

Green Tea Extract: Tea from the Camelia sinensis plant which has caffeine and antioxidants within it. This form of tea is not fermented which maintains polyphenols intended to deliver many benefits. It is used to help improve the immune system, raise alertness, and stimulate the central nervous system.

While this is intended to be an effective fat burner, Examine.com has reviewed studies on green tea and they have said this is:

“dependent on being caffeine naive”

So they found there was no real benefit to this compound unless one has limited to no caffeine consumption, which if so it can only deliver mild benefits which are not long lasting.

This can also cause unwanted side effects such as:

  • Tremors, dizziness, and headache.
  • Diarrhea, irritability, and rapid heart rate.

Follow this cited link for a detailed list of the most beneficial weight loss pills.

Meratrim: A combination of Garcinia mangostana fruit and Sphaereanthus indicus flower, which is patented and created by the InterHealth Nutraceuticals.

Studies by the company show that it could lead to 11 pounds of weight loss in an 8 week time span. This is meant to help fat cells burn off any excess fat, make it less likely for fat cells to be created, and reduce fat cells within the blood stream.

The company has only performed 8 week long studies so it’s impossible to verify if their claimed results are long term. The people involved also had to stay on a 2,000 calorie diet with a half hour of exercise 5 days a week. It’s possible that these lifestyle changes were a major reason why the obese participants lost weight.

Strangely there is lacking evidence that either ingredient on their own would have any weight loss effects.

Natural Caffeine USP: Common stimulant that is purified and taken from quality coffee beans. There is 75 mg added for each serving, which at the advised 2 pills a day amounts to 150 mg daily. This is roughly the equivalent of one cup of moderate strength coffee.

The supplements facts label for Dietspotlight Burn does add how one should avoid other simulant additives other than this one. Jitters or stimulant related side effects are said to be not experienced by most.

The company fails to mention the fact that it’s best not take this supplement too late in the day, since the caffeine can potentially lead to sleep disturbances. Other potential issues related to caffeine intake are:

  • Headache, insomnia, and restlessness.
  • Difficulty relaxing, frequent urination and withdrawal effects.
  • Increased blood pressure, dehydration, and nausea.

Furthermore caffeine has not been proven to be an effective fat loss aid for people who already take caffeine in other forms. The effects of caffeine are limited to only a slight thermogenic effect in those who don’t take caffeine.

ChromeMate: A blend of the minerals chromium and niacin which was patented by InterHealth Nutraceuticals. The company has had 5 clinical studies performed which show it can help support weight loss and stable cholesterol levels and blood sugar.

Chromium and niacin are healthy minerals which should be part of one’s diet, but it’s unknown if additional amounts would be any more beneficial than simply eating a varied diet. Excess amounts can contribute to:

  • Dizziness, liver damage, and nausea.
  • Stomach irritation, heart issues, and headache.

DIETSPOTLIGHT BURN QUALITY OF INGREDIENTS

Knowing the exact dosage strength known via the supplements facts list reveals that much of what is included has only been studied by potentially biased studies.

While the formula is natural, the added caffeine may be a great detriment to users who are sensitive, or who would want to supplement later in the day. Unfortunately what is included here is not the most well-rounded and necessary of ingredients.

Green tea has not shown the ability to burn fat long term or in significant amounts, and this is due to the added caffeine. Meratrim combines two additives which have yet to be proven effective individually for weight loss, and the mineral blend Chromate is also lacking any necessity for use since chromium and niacin are often found in many foods.

THE PRICE AND QUALITY OF DIETSPOTLIGHT BURN (Burn TS)

Each one month supply sells for $109.65. One has to supplement with 2 capsules a day, and it’s advised to eliminate junk food and to include exercise. Also it’s advised to eat a whole foods diet, and drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day. Results are said to come within a month’s time, but this is largely depending on both diet and exercise.

This is a far too basic and unstudied formula when you examine the individual ingredients.

he 2 sources of caffeine can be replaced by simply drinking a cup of green tea. The mineral blend has a healthy mix, but these 2 additives can be also found in regular foods. Finally there’s Meratrim which has combined 2 individually unstudied ingredients that have not shown to produce meaningful weight loss.

Pricing is far too expensive for such a basic formula.

BUSINESS OF DIETSPOTLIGHT BURN (Burn TS)

The company has listed their contact details as:

Phone Number: (844) 964-3258

Email: [email protected]

No company name or address is offered on their official website, or via their Facebook page.

A 120 day money back guarantee is offered for purchases made on their website, but it’s unknown if there are any limitations to this, and whether or not there is a restocking fee or returns only allowed for unopened items.

The company hosts a review site of other similar brands and unsurprisingly they give these other brands bad reviews, while suggesting their formula. They fail to disguise this obviously biased technique.

Yet another strange issue is the fact that the official review site mentions how they make Leptigen, which has the exact same formula. One major difference is that the Leptigen website has the official company name, while Dietspotlight Burn (Burn TS) has made it difficult to research their policies and who they are. This may be because the creators named Green Bracket, LLC have numerous complaints from users such as:

“no real communication on how to get a refund”
“I was charged for a product I never even purchased!”
“After signing up for their claimed free trial they put me on a month to month plan”
“I want these charges removed they went against their money back return policy”

A total of 99 complaints are offered on their Better Business Bureau page due to shipping issues, a lack of refund, and what some say are shady business practices.

Within this link is our experts top 10 list which ranks the most beneficial weight loss supplements seen this year.

CUSTOMER OPINIONS OF DIETSPOTLIGHT BURN

The following are revises found online:

“the caffeine in this made me feel bad but I decided to take it anyway”
“started with my diet and exercise plan and when I take this I feel less hungry”
“really like the caffeine in this it made my energy levels go up”
“not a real miracle but with some added effort I was able to lose weight”

Any actual success was largely depending on users adding diet and exercise. The positive experiences were from people who made lifestyle changes and who felt the added boost in mood and energy by the caffeine. This also gave them better results in the gym.

There were some bad reviews however from people who said they were unable to notice any real changes, and that it gave them stimulant like side effects.

CONCLUSION – DOES DIETSPOTLIGHT BURN (Burn TS) WORK?

The makers of Dietspotlight Burn (Burn TS) offer a compelling sounding supplement that is said to be a natural and likely safe solution for weight loss. An easy to understand description is given about the intended benefits as well. The main problems are that the formula is basic and understudied by 3rd parties, and the company has deceptive marketing strategies by adopting a review site which is clearly biased. Furthermore the added caffeine may not be the best option for long-term and safe weight loss.

A better solution is offered by stimulant free brands which have 3rd party reviewed ingredients.

The top weight loss supplement of this year is the highly regarded Sletrokor. It combines a potent blend of stimulant free ingredients that can help provide well-rounded support for actual weight loss.

Sletrokor has been highly favorited by users and reviewers alike due to its ability to sustain weight loss success. Click on this link to examine Sletrokor and to review testimonials which highlight its effective weight loss abilities.

M. Davis says:

I received my trial bottle 5 days before the trial was up. I called and cancelled but they still billed my account $95. If I want caffeine, green tea and chromium I could go to the store and purchase them for way less than $95. When I spoke to someone to cancel the order (I had not received yet) they told me there was no refunds. After arguing with them, they finally agreed to refund me only after I paid to ship it back (could not refuse from postal service) with an authorization number and after they received it I would have to wait another 10 days for a refund. Do yourself a favor….have a cup of coffee, get some green tea extract and buy some chromium at your local supermarket or pharmacy and save yourself a lot of money and aggravation.

Anita says:

I have had the same horrible experience as already described. Unfortunately – the refund is still up in the air and returning the product has proved difficult at best. Thankfully, I did have it charged to my credit card which I can resolve through them if all else fails.

Anonymous says:

The same thing happened to me! They still charged me after I cancelled! I am so upset.

Naomi Gobits says:

Hi I’ve had the same experience insomnia, jitters , who do I call for a refund please ??

Alison says:

I did not sign up to a month to month plan and they keep direct debiting $127 every month and I haven’t received anything to be charged for anyway.
I have emailed them numerous times and no one is responding.
Don’t even know what to do now.

Anonymous says:

Call your bank and change your card number. If it is a debit card.
Call the credit card company and request a new card with a different number.

Dispute it through the bank.

Sam says:

Cancel your credit card immediately. I did as a last resort.

Mary Coleman says:

Thanks for all the posts, I was going to buy this product, but now I won’t. It’s a shame how these people get over on other people, stealing their money. Starting now when I buy something like this I will be using a prepaid card. Let them try to debit that on a monthly basis.

Ashley Hansen says:

They won’t sell anything like that w a prepaid card. Trust me I’ve tried , no company will . But good thought .

Jeanne Smith says:

Do NOT fall for this diet pill trial offer. You will be automatically enrolled in a monthly subscription for $95.90 per month. The pills did NOT curb my appetite, give me more energy, or help me to lose any weight. This is a total scam. Luckily I was able to get my credit card company to get a refund and to cancel all further shipments.

Alison Messer says:

I tried to cancel and the phone number on the flyer that accompanied the trial sample did not work (844)96-HEALTH). I contacted them through their website asking to cancel and not charge my credit card. This product DOES NOT work.

Naomi G says:

You’re lucky! My credit card company would not refund my $ And I had the same thing happen to me.

evelyn Timrey says:

The best way to lose weight is not to eat too much carbohydrates, junk food/ soft drink, juice. no added sugar in tea or coffee. Exercise even you got no time. I watch TV while exercising. Take less fat, salt and sugar intake will make a lot of difference. Everything in moderation.

Lisa harris says:

Awful company to deal with!! I first got signed onto their trial of leptigen and that did absolutely nothing for me so they talked me into trying diet spotlight. I was one day short of canceling this one as this too did nothing at all. Unfortunately that one day cost me $94.95!!! I asked if I could send the product back to get a refund and the guy was very rude and said no they don’t offer refunds. When I asked for his name he hung up on me, great customer service for a company that charges that kind of money for there product.
DO NOT FALL INTO THERE TRAP

Naomi G says:

I agree ! Horrible customer service! I purchased the free trial which automatically signs you up for a subscription and they charged me $125 without my authorization and will not refund my money.

ROSETTA MOSS says:

The same thing has happened to me. I ordered a free week and now I have been sent a month’s supply which I did not sign up for. How do I get my money back?

April Adams says:

I was able to get a refund but I had to get ugly and ask for a manager. The manager was immediately helpful and nice but the first customer service person’s job is to make sure you give up. I had to wait extremely long for a manager to get on line.

Michael R Pitts-Campbell says:

I have been seeing my doctor regularly for skin issues so he was alarmed that, after years of low normal readings and only 4 days of using Dietspotlightburn, I suddenly had clinical hypertension (blood pressure over 140/90). It took me a couple of days to remember what I had changed because I’ve used both ephedrine, when it was legal, and ephedra products with no alarming change in b.p. It took 5 days after ceasing to use Dietspotlightburn before my b.p. returned to normal levels.
Dietspotlightburn may work, although I lost nothing during the trial period (according to DS’s forms, I should have lost 2+ pounds per week, but I remained at the same weight I had been at for the previous month+). It’s possible, but not likely, that my b.p. change was coincidence.

Linda says:

How do u cancel. I just thought I was getting a trial and didn’t want to enroll in monthly.

Naomi G says:

Same thing happened to me! They’re scammers and would not refund my money.

Anonymous says:

I had the exact same problem. The promise of 120 day money back guarantee is only for the products listed below the quarantee- or so they said. DO NOT fall for the sample- you will be billed for the entire month. After throwing a royal fit I got them to refund most of my money. Beware!!

Naomi Gillis says:

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE FUCKING CROOKS! SIGNED UP FOR THE ‘FREE’ TRIAL. THEY SIGNED ME UP FOR MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTIONS WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE AND IVE BEEN CHARGED $125 THAT I CANNOT GET BACK FROM THEM OR MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY! IM FUCKING PISSED! DONT LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU!

Natasha says:

This happened to me too! I am hoping my credit card can get me my money back, this is a HUGE SCAM! The product doen’t even work!

Naomi G says:

It’s a scam! They will sign you up for subscriptions and charge your credit card without authorization!

Stephanie says:

is it the same charge name on the trial. Im calling my bank to put in a stop payment on any further transactions.

Sydney Poplar says:

First and foremost, Dietspotlight is another diet scam. It doesn’t work and it costs too much. Secondly, I tried to cancel my subscription twice, but “they didn’t get my request” so they continued to send and charge me for the pills. I finally spoke to a “manager” who said he cancelled my subscription. I asked if I could send back the sealed and unopened pills for a refund and he refused. I had some in it’s original packaging that we just received two days ago and he said if I send those back he would give me half of a refund for that order. I of course argued that I left a message on their website and called to cancel and I should not have to pay for any of it! They are unethical and their product is a joke! WARNING: Do not get free samples because they will keep sending you pills and charging you whether you cancel or not!!

Karin Forfota Poklen says:

Just ONE capsule of this product made me feel like I had taken a poison! I began to sweat profusely, then felt dizziness, headache and nausea. This was followed by dramatic simultaneous vomiting and diarrhea until my body had nothing more to eject. My face in the mirror was ashen. Afterwards I felt weak with body aches all over.
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS PRODUCT!!!

Charlene says:

i came on here to see if anyone has had the same experience, thank god! I’m currently going through this after one dose.
This product is horrible

Anonymous says:

Me too

Anonymous says:

Thank you for posting! The same exact thing happened to me. I thought I was dying!! The free trial went right in the garage.

Pat Kyllonen says:

I ordered the trial sample for $3.95 (this nominal charge is to get your credit card info of course) Upon receipt of the sample I realized that they were going to automatically send another months supply in just a few days unless I cancelled. When I tried to call them (from two different phones) the phone did not ring on their end. I tried calling all that day and again the following day with the same result. Finally, I called US Cellular, my cell phone carrier, and they were able to patch my call through to these people. The rep that I spoke to was quite surprised to hear from me so soon after my order (I”ll bet he was). He tried to talk me into another 15 day supply at no cost. I am sure this is to ensure the 15 days elapses so that an order will be shipped. I did finally receive an email from them confirming my cancellation. However, I do not trust them and I will place a stop payment on my debit card. It is unbelievable that this scam has not been stopped.

Emily Valdez says:

Do not buy this product. It is a scam. Even their free trial locks you in for you to be charged a ridiculous amount, and do not allow refunds. I am following up with the Better Business Bureau. This product is worthless.

Cynthia says:

I tried the product & I got sick after a couple of days so I stopped called the company since it was a trial to cancel instead they offered to send me an additional week “free” & a little more trial time. I once again tried the product just to make sure it wasn’t me and once again I got sick. I called to cancel AGAIN and was offered another product “free”……….NO free, no additions, just CANCEL!!!! I am now waiting to see if they are going to attempt to charge my account that expires in 10 days (9/17)!

Patti says:

Just do yourself a favor and do not fall for a free trial. I’m in the same mess, trying to cancel. But all attempts to call get a ‘woops, there is a hurricane now’ and emails get a ‘so sorry, you can only cancel by phone so call this number’, which leads me to the loop of ‘we are closed, there is a hurricane in Florida’. My credit card notified me of this charge and I declined the charge. My credit card company said it looked like I’d signed up for an automatic service/charge. I did not think I authorized this and I certainly would not have at $95.

Sarah says:

DO NOT BUY. DO NOT fall for the free 15 day trial. They DO NOT work. And they will charge you $95 for a month supply without letting you know. They DO NOT send any sort of documentation to you about their product or dates. IT IS A SCAM. DO NOT BUY. This product is terrible. It will make your stomach hurt and you will poop a lot. Sorry, but it is true. They will charge a non-refundable fee of $95 to your account without telling you and then tell you it is non-refundable. DO NOT BUY. I repeat, DO NOT BUY. If I had to rate this product from 1-10, I would go in the negatives. WORST PRODUCT EVER.

emily says:

They steal your money. IT IS A SCAM. The company is terrible and rude and immoral. The product doesn’t work. DO NOT BUY. I repeat, they take your money and then tell you it is nonrefundable. They could care less about you. They only want your money. And their product doesn’t work. DO NOT BUY.

Christina says:

Doesn’t work like at all. Not even the slightest decrease in appetite or weight. Bogus

Tina says:

DO NOT!!! I REPEAT DO NOT, order this as a sample or their product. This company has horrible customer service, charges you without telling you…doesn’t indicate you are signed up for a subscription and then expects you to pay for this product. They should be reported to the better business bureau and shut down. The product does not work, it is all a big scam. Whatever you do….do not even try this. Stay far far away.
I just called and cancelled and talked to some a$$hole named Eddie, who is trying to say they have it in their terms all over their site. I have an order cancellation number and plan to call my CC company and let them no I have not authorized any purchases through them.

Ashley says:

Horrible Customer service! DO not buy their product! It’s essentiallly a scam!!!!!!!!!!! Customer service is horrible. They stick by a script and are irritated that your calling to cancel. The price it ouragous and it’s basically a scam. They guy told me that if he gives me a refund and I send the pills back by law and regulation they would take a loss. Okay, I get that but I want a refund, it’s part of the business. I had shared that my mom has Alzheimer’s and I want able to call within 15 days I called on day 16 … manager was rude and would not give me the time of day.. explained the loss of the company etc… I mean rude and cold! I work in customer service practically all my life. This one was by far the worst, he had no empathy. I’m not sure why he is in leadership! He is angery because no one keeps their memrbership. I want you do not buy from them, the trail is NOT even worth it! I admit I haven’t taken it due to caring for my mom with Alzheimer’s I’ve just had not time and forgot that I had them but still their customer service does not deserve your business. Do yourself a favor, spend ur money elsewhere!

chad clark says:

Just fell for the scam!! Fifth line down see below. They agreed to refund 50.00 dollars of the 94.00 charge. They got cha legally by clicking the agree button.

John says:

Don’t waste your money!!!! Couldn’t tolerate the pills and still got billed without my authorization.

John says:

Ha, tried to leave a negative comment on their website and they wouldn’t accept it!!
What kind of company does that? Geez!

Sophie osullivan says:

Ordered what i thought was a free 15 day trial only to have £73 taken our of my bank the next month
Big con, horrible company that does not care about your circumstances just want their money

Cheryl says:

I have just been scammed in the same way too. Thought I was ordering a free trial and could order again if needed but the £72 has been taken out for the next months supply with out my consent. Absolute scam

AH says:

HORRIFIC! Do not buy! Scam! Don’t sign up for the trail as it locks you in for monthly charges of 95 dollars even though you think you are not signed up for the recurring pills. It’s a SCAM. The ingredients are much cheaper at the grocert store. Very frustrating people to deal with on the phone.

Anonymous says:

I received my order today after ordering it about 8 days ago. After talking to my dr and looking over the costs, I decided to call and cancel. The first person I spoke to completely dominated the conversation and would not let me speak. He said do you think $30 a month is too expensive? He was offering to give two bottles for the price of one. He became very rude and said my cancellation went through. I was going to ask for a cancellation number and he said bye and hung up. So I waited a little while later and got another gentleman on the phone. It sounded like the exact same person I have spoken with before but it sounded like he was using a different name. I told him all that I wanted was a cancellation number. He said what is it? The price? your doctor? What is it why? By the time I became very upset and told him it was a combination of things and that I wanted a cancellation number. He also before I could get done speaking it was offering other products for free. I kept repeatedly saying I do not want anything else and he would not listen and kept talking like the first person did. He also ended the conversation. So I decided to call my credit card company. I gave her a rundown of what I went through and she called the company with all three of us on the line. Their tune completely changed and they said they emailed me a cancellation letter which I did receive. She noted on my counter if they charge anything else it will be fraudulent. If you do you have an issue, I recommend not wasting your time by calling the company and just call your credit card company if you need help. What a waste of time for a product that I do not believe was marketed well since you can get the ingredients to the burn HG a lot cheaper through other vendors. As far as the customer service, they are a complete joke!

Sheila Thompson says:

Ordered it and tried to cancel but was encouraged to order more to get “the better packaged deal” and was told I didn’t have to cancel because it would automatically cancel after this order I checked my bank account and $65.00 was taken out!!! I called and was on hold for 20 minutes then phone kept hanging up I even agreed to be called back through automated call, never called me back, I even emailed this personal supporter no response, they’ve gotten about $200 all together i want my money back that I did not authorize!!!!!!

Viv says:

Do not purchase from this company! It is a scam! you are auto enrolled and billed $95 for crap pills. I did not even receive the package and was billed. When i called for a refund because I never received the package, they told me to take it up with the postal service. I asked for a supervisor, the rude salesman on the phone said he was the supervisor.. yeah right! Horrible people, total thieves! Save yourself the money and hassle! They will take your money and you will not get it back!

JG says:

Do not purchase these pills!! Total scam!! When I ordered the 15 day sample, their website said satisfaction guarantee, if you don’t like them you can return them and get a refund. I did not realizing that it auto enrolled me into monthly shipments at $95 each. I was not able to tolerate these diet pills. I called today to tell them that I now have 2 unopened bottles that need to be returned and refunded and was told they do not accept returns nor do they offer refunds. When I told him that their website said otherwise, he said that was only for the full year program not to the monthly installments. He said by clicking accept on the trial form, I agreed to the monthly $95, which I do not recall reading anything about and now I am out $200, I have 2 bottles of pills that I can do nothing with, and that is that. I don’t even know how this is legal. Also, the packages show up with nothing but a bottle of pills in a plastic envelope, no packing slip, no account number, no phone number, nothing. I’m extremely pissed off!

Heather says:

When I signed up it clearly said to call and cancel before a certain date. I called to cancel so they wouldn’t auto bill and they offered me another sample for free so that I had ample time to see results, I agreed and put it on my calendar to call them. I started seeing results so I decided to give it another month. My account was billed $85 which I knew in advance would happen so I wasn’t shocked. I continued that month and decided to call and cancel. They were very polite and did not give me any trouble cancelling. Now I regret cancelling because I just finished the last of my supply yesterday, so I have decided to reorder. If you don’t read what you are ordering and what the terms are, that is your own fault. You can’t blame the company, because everywhere that I looked it clearly stated that it was an auto enrollment process. I do not pity you one bit and giving a company a bad review because you don’t know how to review is ridiculous! I do agree on the part about no packing slip, no phone number, etc., however, there is this thing in the modern days called google which you can easily find company phone numbers, which I did. I gave them my name and my zip code and he pulled my account right up!

Marianne says:

I also got taken from dietspotlight. received a sample in plastic envelope with no invoice or packing slip. Did not know how to return. Got my surprise when my credit card showed 95.90. Called and after a lot of bull was offered 40.00 credit.. Doing a dispute with the credit card company… Will also complain to there BBB.. Do not buy anything from this company , not at all a reputable company.

kassie says:

I ordered a free sample of Burn HD. 2 weeks later I received a full bottle of product that I did not order
As stated on the receipt for the sample – NOTE: Transactions from Burn HD will appear on your credit card as DIETSPOTLIGHT.
I checked my card statement. It appeared on credit card statement as LEPTIGEN
I will be calling dietspotlight on 11/20. If they do not refund the charge I will be contacting my credit card company stating fraudulent charges.

Natasha says:

This company is a scam! Ordered a free trial from them and they started charging me monthly! When I called them they were the rudest customer service people I ever talked to! They refused to give me my money back and gave me some BS about me agreeing the be charge in there terms and conditions which I went through. If i knew they would charge me monthly, i would have never purchased. After doing research and reading reviews about this company, they have been scamming everyone! They claim they send you the terms and condition in the free trial but i got nothing and even after asking them to email it to me, they still wont send it. Seems pretty suspicious to me. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

Sheri says:

This program is FRAUD…..they charged my account without authorization and refuses to refund my account.

Karl says:

This product does nothing, it’s a placebo and total scam, I also fell for it and then got charged for the next bottle, the customer service guy couldn’t care less, you can tell they deal with frustrated people all day.

Unsatified Customer says:

Did absolutely nothing! And they automatically send you first month with authorization… claims it’s in the fine print! Scam!

LB says:

So you are aware I also got caught in this scam. I ordered the tester pack and then cancelled the unexpected plan by phone (I still have a record of the call in my phone log) when I found out about it when the product arrived. Money however was debited from my account sometime after this and more produce sent (which I think is stuck in customs anyway as I did not order it!). I spoke with customer services again today and the guy I spoke to sounded similar to the guy I spoke to previously. He was very difficult to speak to and suggested today that maybe the call I have proof of was me waiting on the phone and then I gave up as never got to speak to them. When I was on the phone with them for that first time he confirmed that the order was cancelled. This time he said I should have been sent email confirmation … which i obviously was not. Luckily he sent cancellation confirmation to me today now he has my money. My bank is investigating.

Shawn says:

This product is a scam called and canceled like many others and they still charged my card upon contacting them they were extremely unprofessional on the phone and ended up hanging up on me. Currently working with my card company to cancel transaction. Do not try this product

Jim says:

This is a SCAM!! They delay shipment so you get it and you are more than half way through your trial and then ship you the first month for $95 and you cannot get a refund. When I did take this it upset my stomach and I felt like I drank 3 cups of coffee. Its a shame companies like this are not out to do the right thing and instead look for ways to scam you.

Carrie Gray says:

DO NOT BUY!!! I tried the free sample and 14 days later they sent me a full bottle at the cost of $80. I called customer care to say that I did not like the sample because it made me physically ill. The customer service rep was very rude and does not let you get a word in. When I finally got to speak to tell him I wanted my money back he said there are no refunds because they cannot resell the productt. Their website says there is a 120 day money back guaranty so we told them that and they said it doesn’t apply to what I have. Well I have exactly what is on the website right below the 120 day money back guaranty. They told me that I didn’t buy there product from their website. I told them that I have a confirmation when I bought it from their website. They told us no refunds.
The customer service is the worst I’ve ever encountered. Save yourself the frustration and do not buy!

MMM says:

Fake….. They take your money without you knowing

Dale Folland says:

DietSpotlight Burn…what a bogus pack of unethical people. Please do not even bother…you’ll lose more money than buying this product as you’ll end up with more per month off your credit card without having any luck with the company customer service centre…or lack of one, plus the product just does not what it’s supposed to do. You’ll get better results just walking around the block.

BEN says:

THAT WAS A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE
THEY WILL MAKE YOU SUBSCRIBE AUTOMATICALLY AND YOU CAN’T CANCEL THE ORDER
THERE ONLY PURPOSE IS TO MAKE PROFIT FROM PEOPOLE

Laura says:

I didn’t think it was possible to have that much diarrhea in your body. Took ONE pill. The only “burn” will be a certain part of your rear end.

Remi says:

I too was taken in with try another 2 week sample. I canceled twice and I was told it was cancelled. I will keep an eye on my card. I also gave a heads up to my credit card company and the name of the company. So if there is a dispute, the card company is aware of the fraudulent activities. I just happen to fall on this site as I was researching this product further.

Mikka says:

The above comments have fortunately made me run away fast with credit card safe and snug in my wallet! It’s clearly yet another way to get honest, hard working folk to part with their money!

NO WAY HOSEA! HOSEA NO WAY!

Kimberly Robinson- Jones says:

Do not do free trial, I Repeat DO NOT DO FREE TRIAL , I received my pills a the last day of trial, they office was closed by the time I made it home to get packaged woke up the next day and they took money out my account, they take your money, he only offered me 45 dollars back of my money

Nia Brown says:

Do not order this product. It is simply an aggressive laxative with no nutritional benefits. This company is a ripoff. If you cancel they will still charge your credit card and not refund your money. They charge your card a week after you receive it. Cancel your credit card before you are victim like the rest of us. They actually argue and scream at you over the phone to intimidate you. This company is very unprofessional and has unfair business practices. They will be out of business soon!

Michelle says:

Call your bank and change your card number. If it is a debit card.
Call the credit card company and request a new card with a different number.
I took this for 2 weeks and then got very sick – went to the ER – chest pains, nausea, vomiting, fever….horrible stuff!

Bryson says:

Seems to be a trend. Ordered the trial, cancelled the next day… still charged me $95 for the subscription and wouldn’t refund until after I shipped the pills back.

Erica says:

I cancelled my account by email on a Thursday, stating I wanted the account closed IMMEDIATELY. I received an email quickly stating that I needed to call a number right away to cancel for “security reasons.” I tried to call numerous times but everyone was busy. I work so I couldn’t be waiting on the line for long. Sure enough, Saturday morning, I wake up to $95 removed from my account!!! Of course, they aren’t open again until Monday morning. So I called Monday and they already shipped the bottle and even if I send it back, they will not refund my money at all!!! What a sneaky way to cheat people and show terrible customer service. I will be sure to let everyone I know that this company has NO sense of Customer Service and will do all they can to steal money from others.

Julie says:

Same here and the kicker was that I never even received my “free sample” and never received responses from the emails asking where it was. Then they had the verve to take $95 out of my account and of course they said that it was shipped on Saturday, and a week later I just received the “sample” … the customer service, or the lack there of, is just really bad business! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS BS!

Holly Dykstra says:

This is a complete scam. The pills made me jittery. The “guarantee” to lose weight requires you to stay under a certain number of calories a day and exercise 5 x a week – those things alone will allow you to lose weight – the pills are not necessary.

Add to that they auto-membership in their monthly OVER PRICED program if you don’t notice the directions to cancel within 15 days of the free trial order…. causing you to be charged $95.90 for a 30 day supply (WAY overpriced for a bad product) – this is a hussle in every way.

When I called, they did cancel my membership that automatically began. But would not refund the $95.90. I told him I would just dispute with my bank, and he said they would tell the bank I had agreed to the conditions, so would not be refunded. NICE. So, I’ve disputed – will see what happens next. I did sent the 30 day supply back refused and shipping packaging unopened. Seriously. This is such a scam.

KayKay says:

Same here. I got cussed out too when I pointed out that I had tried to contact them . and he saw I did . my bank says they’ll get my money back regardless due to the treatment alone as well as the fact that they have had numerous issues with this company.

Chris Mitchell says:

Just happened to see what the last person wrote that I see on my screen….”Fake….. They take your money without you knowing”

I agree fully….
They are nice, the sales people. I was just looking for a weight loss supplement and came across their “free” trial. I get how these things work and how they will auto debit you if you don’t cancel….Well I called and spoke to a kind sales person and let them know that I wanted to cancel since I didn’t want to pay the $89 per month for this. He said that would be fine and that he will send me out another 2 week trial and if I decided I wanted more that I should call back in and purchase it from them direct instead of the web page because it would be cheaper than $89 a month…..Well, I still got charged $89. Don’t waste your time. Go to GNC and talk to someone who you can go and talk to face to face if they lie to you.

Karina says:

Do NOT waste your money. Worst diet pill I’ve EVER tried. Then I called Dietspolight customer service number and they had an attitude and was treated poorly. DO NOT BUY, Save your money for something else.

Damara Lynn Warford says:

DO NOT EVER DO ANY KIND OF BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THE PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK!!! THEY ARE A SCAM!!! PLEASE DONT LET THEM DO THE SAME TO YOU

KayKay says:

Not only did they refuse to give me my money back for pills I didn’t order. But they kept changing their story on where it said “I was subscribed” after the free trial . first he said in my conformation email (never recieved) then he changed it to say its on the page where you get the free trial. Which I went back and checked, it isn’t. I never got emails back when I tried emailing them. Thanks to this site I saw it was a scam and tried to cancel immediately. Not only was I put on hold for 20 minutes. I emailed and got nothing back. When I finally spoke to a representative they cussed me out, refused to give me a refund even after I pointed out that it says clear as day that I can get one, changed his story again about how they don’t offer them, refused to close my account down , then refused to let me talk and ask questions so I can figure out where I went wrong and how to fix it- instead he belittled me called me dumb and a bitch and told me to shut up and let him speak. I only got 2 words in the whole time mind you. They wouldn’t let me ship the unused unopened product back even though again the website says I can. He said I have to keep it and that they’ll refuse it from me as a means to continue to charge me. He then said the reason why my emails werent being replied to was because they don’t have time to check their emails. Which is bullshit. I also mentioned I tried calling several times in which he said its not his issue I’m stupid. I called my bank and they indeed said that they are a scam and I’m not the only person who’s had issues with them. Do not order from them. While most places are happy to work with you especially when you offer to send the product back and pay the additional fee to do so so long as you get your money back , they Litterally refused to not only allow me to get my refund but to close my account I didn’t know I even had. Don’t order from them ! There are cheaper , better alternatives , that have better research and better representatives.

Cari RAY says:

BUYERS BEWARE: IF YOU GET A TRIAL, YOU CAN ONLY AVOID BEING CHARGED THE $97 FOR THE FULL ORDER IF YOU CALL IN PERSON. CANCELLING VIA EMAIL IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH, EVEN WHEN THEY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU’RE TRYING TO CANCEL THE ORDER. THIS IS MY ACTUAL EXPERIENCE AS OF 1/27/18.

Brittany says:

Shoot I did call to cancel and I still got charged!! IT’S A SCAM!

Heather Peterson says:

I had the same thing happen to me. I called and emailed and they charged me twice. My bank got the money back from them. I put in two disputes on it and the company on the phone was rude to me and acted like I ordered their product when I didn’t. All I did was go on their web page and read it. If you have an I phone it saves your card information that you use with your phone and sites pick it up and can use your card. Then after all this they sent me some of their product which I tried one and was throwing up for a week after just one. I advise no one to take these and beware of anything online that you don’t know where it’s actually coming from or what is in it. I looked it up and there have been many deaths from on line vitamins.

Brittany says:

TOTAL SCAM! I ordered the free sample which came quickly. Four days later I called to cancel the subscription. 2 weeks later I was charged $95! I immediately called and was told unfortunately they cannot refund my money. After stating my case, hr then said he will try to find my recorded call. When he comes back he told me that he had found it and I did agree to continue the subscription. A complete LIE!! I said I would like to hear this call, why would I agree to something I was calling to cancel, something I don’t want!? He offered $25 off next order and said that’s all he could do. I refused, again I don’t want the product! After asking if I send the product back, I’ll even send back the sample, will they refund me. I got put on hold, and when he comes back I am told send the product back. When they receive it, I will be refunded my money. Here we are a week and a half later and I still have not received this “priority shipped” product! Something tells me after I called they cancelled shipment!! I will be calling again today, wish me luck!!

Renee says:

Horrible customer service and very expensive product. After receiving my “free” product and then tried to cancel, they said my charges for $18 and $91 will still apply to my credit card and I could not send back my unopened product that was sent to me without my request. I was told by Kevin, a dietspotlight customer representative, that I wouldn’t even notice the effects after two weeks of use. Any product should be working at about 2 weeks. No thanks. Not for me. I’ll stick with Advocare!

Joanna says:

DO NOT BUY from this company, DO NOT ORDER their free sample. If you do you are automatically sigining up for their enrollment and if you paid the three dollars and something with you debit card they have your information & will continue to take 95.90 from your checking account each month. This has been a night mare. I’ve tried to unsubscribe & sent bottles back and have yet to be refunded. I am going to have to close my checking account & open another one because of this SCAM. Right now they have taken money out of my account unauthorized for two months in a row. This is nothing more than a SCAM. Don’t fall for it. They’re ought to be some kind of law suit against this company!!

Marie says:

Hay all just to let you know call them again, talk to a supervisor. let them know that you will report them to your bank as fraud and that you will make sure to but on all sites bad reviews as well as start many warnings about there company’s on social media. This tends to work very well but I would be sure to keep to your promise and the amount of time that has lapsed if more than 30 days does not matter. You can tell them you spoke with a layer. Which I am. The bank as well you can tell them you just discovered this fraud. Let them know it was not agreed with the company and is in deed a fraud. Be nice but assertive. Be sure to tell the bank that not at anytime did you agree to anything. I can tell you this will work. Or if you rather try the 100% money back guarantee they offered. You can ask for corporates number which they can not refuse. YOU can also find it online. You cause a stink and they will do what they can to give you your money back.

Kevin says:

This is a bait and switch. They offer a 7 day free trial, but what they don’t tell you is they sign you up for a 4 month subscription at $99 a month. This product didn’t work, it actually made me feel terrible, and run down. The worst part of this is they will not stand by their product, and refund me my money. Buy beware and stay away from this scam of a company! Hopefully there is a class action lawsuit so I can get some of my money back.

People do not buy anything that goes in your body off line. You do not know where it is coming from and there have been deaths involved. And this company is horrible. I had every single experience all of you have had. And I got extremely ill from just one. I looked up vitamins and deaths they have caused after being bought online. Look it up.

Jax says:

This is definitely a scam, preying on as many people as possible before it’s closed down. My experience is the same as many others, ‘free trial’ leading to an unwanted product delivered to my home and unauthorised payment from my account. Contact with the company led to them trotting out so well used lines about their terms and conditions etc, which I ignored. My bank have refunded the money – its theft plain and simple- and I’ve made a report to the police about internet fraud. You can force your bag on brick dust on people then charge them for it, no matter what rubbish you wrote in your T&C’s.

Marc says:

Made the mistake of ordering the trial and then read the reviews. Called them 2 days after and told them I wanted to cancel. They tried to pressure me into using another pill and talked to me like I was an idiot for not agreeing. Seemed to muddle something about cancelling then hung up on me. I recorded the call and followed up with an e-mail telling them I had a recorded the call and would be calling my credit card company. The did sent me a confirmation e-mail but I changed my credit card number to be safe. Will never order another trial product of anything ever again…lesson learned.

Brenda says:

I was caught by a similar scam. You cannot get your money back. It takes months to get them to cancel. However, you can CANCEL YOUR CARD. It is inconvenient but it keeps them from getting your money.

Marie says:

This is a horrible company, I did the trial that did nothing for me then I called to be sure I was not charged. The agent assured me and then I was charged. I had not received a bottle yet and when I called back they had refused to refund. I spoke with a manager who gave me back half my money. This company is a scam.

Christina Brown says:

THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!!! They send you a free trial and when you try to cancel they send you a different product for “free” but then actually bill you.
Don’t waste your money!

Charlotte says:

I too have been scammed by this company – I had the two week free trial, didn’t work and wasn’t impressed. Then received the pills a month later with a bill of £72.00! I wrote to them asking for a refund and to send the pills back that I hadn’t openedand then said they would assist with me my refund. Two weeks later, still no refund and then you get the cocky customer services guy saying that they never agreed to a refund and kept sending me snippets of their emails without the paragraph attached where they agreed to it. He got really difficult, and said to send the pills back and they’d give me a full refund. However, I’m not holding my breath as I’m sure there will be a problem somewhere along the line. Seems everyone has been scammed – disgusting this is allowed to continue to be honest!

Greenladtly says:

I cancelled my subscription because it didn’t work for me and they charged me for another month. Total scam

Jennifer says:

Cancelling this product was the WORST customer service experience I have ever had. The customer service representative was beyond rude and when I asked to speak to someone above him, I was told he was it. From the way I was treated, I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Ted Mattis says:

Took this for 2+ weeks. No more. Have had significant diarrhea and nausea. Not a very pleasant experience. Would not recommend to anyone.

Angela says:

I placed my order online and did read the disclosure of the renewed shipment after 14 days. I placed my order on Wednesday and Friday the same week I called and canceled my membership. I also called my bank right after and confirmed with them that if they do bill, there is a department within Visa/Mastercard/etc. that will dispute it for you if you are charged. Also, they told me another option would be to cancel the current card that was used and they would issue a new one with a new number that way the old number is no way connected to your account anymore. Hopefully this information is helpful to anyone who is still within that trial period that is looking for a way not to get charged for the monthly fees.

Christina says:

I am unhappy with this product. I cancelled my free trail within the 14 days and they offered to send me another free trial pack because of the inconvenience. I received a charge on my account and a bottle of the pills. When I called to tell them I wanted a refund, they told me that a new trail was started (without my knowledge) and that I did not cancel in time. They only offered to refund $55 of the $90 that they charged me. This is a scam and I will never recommended this product or their services.

Nancy says:

Terrible company. I called about the nearly $100 withdrawn from my account following the “free trial”. I asked to speak to the reps supervisor and he lied and said he wasn’t there and then hung up on me. I know he lied because his supervisor answered the phone when I called back immediately. For some reason the supervisor didn’t understand why I wasn’t receptive of his pitch despite knowing I’d just been hung up on and lied to.

Philip Bradley says:

Beware of the auto charges. They claim to offer a free 15 day trial, but they run their clock from when you place the order even though you don’t receive the product for a week. By the time you have received it and tried it for 15 days, they have already charged your card and sent you more. If you call to complain, their slick salesmen tell you that you agreed to this. When you point out the obvious problem with the free trial and timeframes, they tell you that you agreed to this. They stand behind their contract, not their product.

Jim P says:

Taking this product for 1.5 months now, and my heart rate is constantly up about 30 – 40 BPM higher than normal – RESTING! Very jittery and irritable. Stopping use now, and I wish I had found this before I did their “Trial”, which needs to be called what it is… a subscription. Anyone reading this who is thinking about trying it, please head the advise of everyone on this page and DO NOT consider this product at all.

J. B. says:

I took this pill today and it landed me in the ER! I had to leave work due to violent vomiting & pay a $300 copay at the emergency room. AVOID THIS DRUG.

Vicki says:

Oh my gosh I wish I had read all these comments before I ordered the sample! I have sent two emails asking them to go ahead and cancel any month to month orders within minutes of placing the sample order! I do not wish to do battle with them but I am prepared if I have to.

Anonymous says:

I had a horrriable experience with them ,I signed once thru with my husband friend wife, after that they send me again Orr every month and took money from my account 3 time. Almost $600 . Finally I do everything by email to close my account but they never. Finally I cancelled my credit card.it was very bad experience, they r froud froud

S Smith says:

I wish I’d found this website before I ordered. Called to cancel before they charged – which they charged earlier than the 15 days. My credit card was maxed, thank goodness so it was declined – and guy kept trying to put me off. Finally when he asked “What’s causing you to want to cancel” or something similar for the 3rd time, I told him that it’s because he’s really making me irritated. Wanted to say “pissed” but I was nice. He finally cancelled it.

Nicole C Criss says:

Another person that got caught in there’s auto ship program that overdrafts my account for crap I didn’t purchase

Anonymous says:

I signed up for the free trial and I called immediately after to cancel because of the auto renewal. The smooth customer service rep said he extended the trial and will be sending a additonal sample at no charge waiving the shipping. I could cancel a month from now via phone or email. Being that I didn’t trust it I called my cc company and the intial shipping charge was flagged as fraud needing my approval. I declined it, the issues me a new cc to prevent and future charges. Act quick before they scam you or if you are lucky you cc company will flag it based on the complaints toward this company already.

Tara says:

I have not even actually tried this product. But, I ordered the sample…was signed up for a 30 day supply auto ship without knowing it…paid $1 for my sample and was charge $60 for the auto ship (that I didn’t even know about). I called to cancel and get a refund…they said I agreed to the 30 day auto ship…can’t find the supposed “agreement” that I signed anywhere in my emails or online…not surprising. They only refunded 25% of the cost…so I am left with these pills that I have not even tried and now I don’t want to just because of their poor customer service. Would not recommend this product or website to anyone! SCAM!

Michael J says:

DO NOT ORDER FREE SAMPLE PACK. THIS IS A SCAM. THEY WILL SHIP YOU PRODUCT YOU Did NOT ORDER after they have your credit card information.
STAY FAR AWAY!

Julie Hammond says:

Wow …I find it hard to believe that I am the ONLY person that thinks this pill works ….I have bought Several Bottles because I have seen results…I am down 20 pounds..I did NOT change ANYTHING …NO Diet Change and NO Exercise….Sorry for those of you that feel like it was a Scam…but for those of you …That believe you cant make Everyone happy…Works for me…..And NO I do not see this 😉

Angela Scott says:

SCAM They automatically sign you up on an automatic ship. Don’t sign up to get the free sample!!

Angela S. says:

Don’t order samples! If you do, you will get enrolled in auto ship without your knowledge. They will not let you return the product. Beware!

Karlie says:

Well, I ordered, my CC was charged $147.00, tried to get a credit and heard from no one on that. My CC company did take the rest off after the $147. I thought since I am stuck with 2 bottles, I would try it. It has been 3 days. It is not bothering me at all. BUT, after reading all of the comments, I just poured it all in the trashcan. WOW, with all the negative comments why would I want to continue. Does anyone have any comments on the Sletrokor??

Tye says:

THIS IS A HUGE SCAM DO NOT DEAL WITH WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! They will charge your account for a “subscription” you never agreed to and will not refund you for anything they send to you. If you try to get a “free sample” pack you will automatically be charged monthly until you call to cancel, again with no refund. What your sent has no contact information or number on the order receipt so you’re left to piece it together on your own and find the contact info online to stop being barged an outrageous amount. Awful, DO NOT get anything from this company.

Charlotte B says:

Severe vomiting….
I tried the Diet Spotlight Burn and within perhaps 2 hours I started to feel very nauseous.
There after I was vomiting badly, numerous times.
I tried the pill again after approx 1 week in case (I wondered) there was some other cause to my vomiting.
(There was no reason- food wise or other to my vomiting)
And I had the same reaction. The vomiting lasted a few hours.
I was actually wondering if there was some type of poison in this product as I can’t remember the last time I was this ill.

Health tuneup says:

Terrible product!! I have tied this product but didn’t get the desired result. I lost my money.

Amy says:

I order this product. I not sure what it does to my body but having a hard time continuing to take it I feel so bad. I had no weightloss. I thought maybe it was me. The coach I’m not sure at how to contact.

Anna says:

They automatically subscribe you to their monthly membership which they never mention when you order the sample. They charge your card 14 days later without asking you. Not to mention, I got my sample kit AFTER the 14 days have passed, so I didn’t actually get a chance to SAMPLE before they took my money! Thankfully, my bank was able to refund my account… Now even if the product works, I’ll never buy it… It’s a terrible business model…

Patti Erickson says:

I ordered a trial of a diet supp. last month (March). Then on April 12 I got a bottle of Carcinia Cambogia-costs $18.79 @ local health food store I frequent. Checks bounced and I freaked. Is this legal and can I return and get a full refund? This is such a scam I can’t believe it is allowed to continue.

Lindsay P Smart says:

Thank you all for the reviews. Glad i am not going to order this product. Will rather just use anavar instead if this junk.

Kenneth says:

I was pleasantly surprised at the weight loss. More so with the increased libido. I’m not sure if that is from the higher frequency of urination or from some herb in the compound. Beat Instant Knockout for me because IK kept me too wired from the caffeine.
