Audrina Patridge, one of the stars of The Hills, has one of the most enviable young bodies in Hollywood. Her ultra-thin physique raises some eyebrows among those concerned over how celebrity bodies affect young women’s body image perception, Audrina personally attests to following a very healthy lifestyle. Hers includes working out with friend and colleague, fellow Hills actress, Lauren Conrad, eating fresh meals prepared by the Sunfare Diet program, and occasionally indulging in Girl Scout Samoas cookies.
Here is a look at Audrina’s diet and fitness regimen.
Diet
Audrina is rumored to be a devotee of the Sunfare Diet, a meal-delivery program that creates low-carb meals that are delivered fresh to Patridge’s L.A. home by 7 a.m. every day. Following a Zone-inspired balance of nutrients, the Sunfare Signature Diet plan contains a precise mix of lean proteins, low-glycemic carbohydrates and healthy fats in a 30/40/30 ratio respectively.
Audrina sticks to a 1,200-calorie per day diet on Sunfare that looks like this:
- Breakfast: Irish oatmeal topped with cinnamon and berries and a black tea with low-fat milk.
- Lunch: Turkey wrap with ranch dressing, vegetable soup, cold passion fruit iced tea.
- Dinner: Lean steak and vegetables
- Go-to snacks: Fresh fruit, raw nuts and string cheese
- Favorite post-workout snack: Kashi GoLean Dark Chocolate Cherry granola bars
Fitness
Audrina gets in regular workouts with pal Lauren Conrad and trainer Del Bene. She works out five days a week, doing laps in her backyard pool, hiking in Runyon Canyon or boogieing in dance class. She likes to mix it up and will often hit the beach for a game of beach volleyball. When she does make it to the gym, she relies on small weights to define her upper arms coupled with 15 to 20 minutes on the elliptical trainer. Squats and lunges help to keep her derriere looking great in bikini bottoms and ab crunches using a stability ball help to keep her core strong and toned.
Audrina rarely sits still, capitalizing on any moment to keep her 5′ 7″ frame looking fabulous.
“When I’m sitting in front of the TV, I lift five-pound weights or do squats. And I wear heels when I vacuum because it works my calves and my butt.”
