Decreasing stress is definitely the #1 benefit of yoga! Yoga and its amazing breathing techniques have been proven to lower heart rate, blood pressure and brain wave activity. I’ve seen it time and time again with my students. Just by slowing down and relaxing the breath, the mind and body automatically follow suit. Everyone that feels overwhelmed or under stress, should just take a minute to focus on the breath. The outcome will be well worth it!! Namaste

Yup, I agree with all, I’d also like to add that I lost weight practing Yoga. Well…I joined it for that reason, but soon it became more than that. Another important factor is that it instills discipline. I have become much more disciplined in most aspects of my life. I keep recommending Yoga to everyone who says they are stressed out and have no time. It’s the best way to keep fit and stay healthy. I also firmly believe that Yoga is a complete form of “being”. It affects all aspects. Physical, emotional and mental.
