Every phase of life has some tool or product that could make it better. For me right now, since I am training for a marathon, my focus is running. I have found some great tools to help me in this and one of my favorites happens to be a Garmin.

While a Garmin may be disguised as a big ol’ watch, really it is a stroke of genius. It tracks the distance of each of your runs, while you are running it tells your pace and your heart rate. After you finish a run, you can upload the data and it tells you everything you ever wanted to know about your run!
While I know that this tool may not be for everyone and it can be up there in price, it is a great tool for a person training for a marathon or triathlon. I saved up for this thing for six months and sacrificed many pedicures, and let me tell you, it was well worth it!
