Chocolate is delicious, but we all know that it’s easy to over do it. Even chocolate giant Hershey admits that there is such a thing as too much chocolate. That’s why they’re helping people connect with registered dietitians around the nation, as part of their Moderation Nation campaign. Hershey is collaborating with the American Dietetic Association to promote “moderation, not deprivation.”
Unfortunately, with obesity so high, it seems that many Americans have lost sight of what “moderation” really means. To help people learn how to eat better, Hershey is covering the cost of a visit with a registered dietitian. That means you can meet with a dietitian for free! All you have to do is find an American Dietetic Association dietitian in your area, and download a certificate from the Hershey website. If the dietitian you choose doesn’t accept the certificate directly, you can pay at the time of your visit and mail in the certificate with your identification and receipt, and receive a refund from Hershey’s of up to $250.00.
A dietitian can help you find a personalized meal plan and diet. Even one visit can be a helpful and informative experience. He or she can help you understand you eating habits and pick food that will help you lead a healthier lifestyle.
