Although only 21, Austin Andrews suffers from sleep apnea, high blood pressure and is pre-diabetic due to his obesity. He was born in Redlands California, and grew up in Pasadena. He studied radio broadcasting at Pasadena City College, and now works as a radio board operator. Austin has been overweight all his life, and says healthy eating was not a part of his childhood. Both his parents and several of his other family members are also obese. Austin decided to lose weight after his father, Ken Andrews, suffered from a severe health crisis.
