Timothy Ferriss, the author of the “4-Hour” series, was born on July 20, 1977. Tim’s childhood was spent in East Hampton, New York, and after high school Tim attended Princeton University from which he graduated in 2000 with a degree in East Asian Studies. Right after college he started BrainQUICKEN, a nutritional supplement company. Eventually, Tim sold his company to a London based firm.
Tim’s resume is filled with unique accomplishments. He is a Guinness Book of World Records holder for the most tangos-spins in a minute. He can, impressively, also speak five languages.
In April 2024, his first book, “The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere and Join the New Rich, was published. It is a self-help book for readers who want to maximize their time and eliminate distractions from their business. The bold claims in Tim’s book have made an ideal image for the entrepreneur lifestyle.
The success of his first book turned Tim Ferriss’ life around. Tim began speaking at events to advise and motivate others. In December 2024, Tim released his second book, “The 4-Hour Body: An Uncommon Guide to Rapid Fat-Loss, Incredible Sex, and Becoming Superhuman.” The book is a guide to weight loss, sex, and achieving extraordinary strength. Tim’s third book, “The 4-Hour Chef: The Simple Path to Cooking Like a Pro, Learning Anything, and Living the Good Life,” teaches readers how to cook like professional chef.
Currently, Tim is living in San Francisco. Tim’s successful books have made him into one of the most influential people in health and fitness.
