Burt's Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter is an all-natural moisturizer intended to keep the skin on the stomach soft and supple while it stretches to accommodate a growing pregnancy.
By combining an assortment of nourishing oils, including macadamia and cocoa butter, the sweet smelling body butter can satisfy a chocolate craving and ward off stretch marks all at the same time.
While deemed to be for the belly, the butter can be used on any part of the body where one wants to see an enhanced appearance to skin, whether expectant with child, or not.
Do You Know the Best Diets of 2024?
- All-natural
- Can enhance self-esteem as it promotes self-care
- Available in major retailers and online
- Protect skin from stretch marks
- User needs to still manage their own food intake
- Might not work for those who are genetically predisposed to stretch marks
- Would need to use it consistently to see results
Burt's Bees focuses on using all-natural ingredients, claiming that the body can absorb up to 60% of what we put on the body, in the form of topical applications. Theobroma Cacao, the botanical name for chocolate, has been receiving special interest these days as a potential superfood, and an important part of many popular diet programs, including Jorge Cruise's 3-Hour Diet and Prevention's Flat Belly Diet.
Some of the other natural ingredients you'll see in Burt's Bees Belly Butter include water, sunflower oil, beeswax, vegetable glycerin, willow bark extract, rosemary leaf extract, as well as vitamin E and cocoa butter.

Burt's Bees Belly Butter is not a diet, but should be a part of any concerted weight loss effort. Most dieters are very concerned with tonality of skin as they shed the weight, and this can be even more important for those dieters who shed the weight quickly.
While there are other Cocoa Butter products on the market, one can feel good about Burt's Bees commitment to sustainable agriculture and paying a fair price to a category of farmers, in this case, cocoa bean farmers, who have, in the past, been exploited and encouraged to harvest for profit at the expense of environment.

+Just purchased this product, and I am loving it! It's not greasy like some products I've used before, and the smell is very light and not offensive at all. Since I got pregnant, I've been very sensitive to scents and most moisturizing products for the tummy offered in our area have rather strong scents. This one works for me. Only a few weeks with this pregnancy, no stretchmarks so far, and hopefully, this product keeps it that way. :)

I have always loved the "original" Burt's Bees Lip Balm (tins). Unfortuantly I am a lucky one who is cursed with genetically having stretch marks. Now pregant with my second child, I am using Burt's Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter. The smell is sweet and not offensive and it takes away the itchy feeling of a pregnant belly. Overall it makes me feel good to use it.
