I have tried several products from Exenadrine, Zantrex III, Ephedra, and Hydroxycut (Hope i spelled them right!) over the past 3-5 years, and so far Metabolife Ultra is the most mild i have used, i am not over weight and and exersize on a regualr basis and take energy pills more for a boost when i need it so on average maybe 5-7 pills per week, any kind of stimulant you take will accelerate your heart rate and increase your blood pressure because that is what it is designed to do to a certain degree, almost all energy pills have heavy doses of caffeen sp if you are taking stimulants make sure you are just listening to your body, the goal in most cases is to maintain that "warm" feeling between exercising which is your metabolism working overtime and your heart rate speed staying at an increased level, if you take something like this and just stop suddenly you are removing that "edge" so you will not maintain the same level of calorie burn so it should be no surprise if it is harder to keep the weight off, these pills are for support, not permanant, but out of anything i ahve taken so far Metabolife Ultra is overall the most effective and easy on the body for your money.

I have been taking this product for 7 + years. Its the only product that has kept me at a healthy weight and allowed me to have the energy to be active. It has never affected my sleep pattern either. I think its a great diet pill. However, I would caution anyone who already has high blood pressure or anxiety not to take it. May not be the one for you so, I would try the caffiene free version. I have never stopped taking it and whether that is good for my health I do not know. But just like exercise when you stop, you gain weight. So, I look at the pill the same way. What works for me, I try to stay with.

I use to take metabolife back when it started in 2000...I was only 18 at that time. It really worked for me, but when i stop taking it for 3 months i gain my ugly pounds again. I had some side effects and stopped for awhile. I tried it again last year in summer of 2007, for 1 month but I had to stop because of my boyfriend. I am willing to try it again this year because it's so hard for me to lose weight and to helped me control my eating habits. I'm a full time med college student, I don't really have that much time. I've tried diet/exercise and it didn't really helped that much cuz I'm always studying. I'm half chinese and spanish, So we eat a lot of rice!!!...

I TOOK THIS PRODUCT FOR ABOUT A FEW MONTHS IT WORKED OUT GREAT I STOPPED TAKING IT I GAINED SOME WEIGHT BACK SO I STATED AGAIN TO TAKE THEM AND THAT'S WHEN I STATED FEELING SICK NERVES, EXREAMLY ACTIVE, AND RAPID HEART BEAT. SO THAT'S WHY I STOPPED EXERCISE IS THE WAY TO I'M NOT GOING TO RISK MY HEALTH ANYMORE.

When I learned this product was originally created to help with tiredness from chemotherapy, I started using Metabolife ultra 5 years ago for energy because of anemia. No side effects. Doesn't affect my blood pressure. Weight loss is a benefit but that's not what I take it for.

I found Metabolife to be very good I took a few years back I went from a size 14 to a size 5/6. My personal experience it was very good. I do notice though I did gain my weight back AFTER I changed my eating habbits again and stopped being as active as I was. So essentially due to my very own lifestyle change I gained the weight this is the same as diet and exercise one can not expect to keep the weight off or continue losing if their slowly going back to their old habbits. Overall, I'd say it's one of the very few diet pills I am going to try again. I've recently bought ALLy and I am very disappointed. All it did was allow me to release fats through bowel movement but I saw no overall improvement in weight loss. I am new mother trying to get back into shape. I work out etc. So for the women out there looking for a great diet pill try Metabolife.

I took Metabolife for about 9 months and lost 70 lbs. BUT...I ended up with high blood pressure and as soon as I quit taking this product, I gained back all the weight-plus more, and I was being careful. I now believe that diet and exercise are the only safe and healthy ways to lose weight.

Metabolife tastes disgusting! Like raw fish... It made me want to throw up every time. I had to hold my nose as to not taste it. I lasted 2 days on the pill. No more for me! It's not worth it. It made me feel like crap. Diet and exercise are the way to go.
